Very sturdy
I’m sure this is perfect for the job. But it takes some practice so don’t give up straight away.

Great Sounding Whistle
Mine arrived with too large a gap set. It pushed together easily enough and works as an Acme ™ should.Novices take note. It isn't broken!Just hard to master at first but well worth the time learning. Google ™ how to use a shepherd's whistle for info/diagrams

Good
Takes practice, if I was trying to round up sheep, they would have been totally confused 🤣, it gets easier, only downside, I don't like the metallic taste, but again you do get used to it. Arrived on time, not overly packaged.

Not as good as plastic ones
For my preference the plastic version gives a nicer whistle and doesn’t taste of metal! But still does the job! Once you master them!

It works
It works but it's not great so I got a better one. It may be that you just need to shop around until you find one that fits your mouth better I don't know. But there's no way I would ever be able to give the same command every time if I can't even manage 3 blind mice on it. There again it depends on how many whistle commands you want to teach your dog, if its just stay and come it would be fine. It's just an opinion for what it's worth

I have never used a whistle like this before
I have never used a whistle like this before. Unlike a standard whistle you have to teach yourself how to use the shepherd whistle. After an hour or so I managed to get a note but it did take 3 or 4 days to get a reasonable note from it. I've been using it for about 2 weeks now and I'm getting better. Would I buy it again ? Yes definitely.

Shepherds whistle
Having received my whistle i was extremely excited to start using it, was quite hard to use at first but with practice and a lot of questioning looks from the dogs i have started to get better at it, and so are the dogs. Absolutely love it well done acme.

Utile ma non facile da usare
Funziona perfettamente anche se manca un necessario manuale o video tutor per capire come si usa. Ho dovuto cercare molto in rete per trovare istruzioni d'uso.

Il fischietto funziona ,ottimo da richiamo bisogna solo avere pazienza per saperlo usare. Provare e riprovare non occorre il manuale d'uso
