Can't wait to share with my students!
This breaks down how one can "read" feeling in art very well.

Invaluable for art teachers
This book will be valuable in teaching children to understand not just how artists "make art", but where artists come from with their motifs. I teach art grades 1-8, this book will help students sensitize themselves to the realities of creating art work and the emotions attached. The book is written to teach students not to just look at art but understand what the artist was trying to say. Teachers can pick and choose which sections fit their assignments. It would be wise to include this type of perception with every art piece studied. It will be a handy tool in the classroom.

Good for homeschool art expressions.
We use this book in conjunction with our Sonlight homeschool curriculum. I like that this book is short and sweet. (There are 4 different feelings explored and I do one feeling in one 15 minute session, once a week. It gives my children exposure to different art works, artists, and and art expressions.

Art Education Recource
Well written. Good resource for parents. Some images may not work well in a public school classroom, if used as a teacher resource.
