First and foremost, I’d like to say that whatever the reason you need a baby gate, I’d recommend this one by far over other brands. It’s definitely worth spending the extra money over other popular brands.I adopted a new dog who tends to chase my cat, so I needed baby gates on a couple of rooms. For one room, I pulled out my old Regalo walk thru gate that I have had since my kid was a toddler (~9 years). Score for me never throwing anything out.The other room, where her food is, I wanted to have a way for the cat to get in without having to jump over it. The opening on the gate works perfectly for her on the second rung. My dog can probably get through the opening when it’s all the way up, as she got really close when she tried before I stopped her, but on the second rung, the cat can just dive through easily, and the dog can’t even get her head through.The other feature I love is that the door opens so easily, by lifting it, and swings the whole gate in either direction, and will lock into place when fully open. It’s just so much easier to walk through holding stuff than the Regalo, with the narrow opening. I bang myself on the Regalo frame frequently, but that isn’t a problem with this gate.My dog is a large framed dog, about 50 pounds, who is overly hyperactive and excitable, and jumps like a kangaroo, but she can’t get over this gate. It hasn’t budged at all since it was installed, even with her jumping on it, and throwing her wait against it. I’m impressed with the sturdiness and how it’s held up over the eight months that I’ve had it.

These gates are sturdy, simple to install and use. It also has a cat pass-through door.Just an excellent pride, highly recommended.

I almost never give a five-star review, but this gate gets five. It is very strongly built - it doesn't feel flimsy at all. Easy to install, latches easily and securely, easy to open - it ticks all of the boxes.What's not to like? - I might take off a fourth of a star here because the instructions could be better, but the instructions aren't bad - it is still easy to install. I expected the screws that go into the sides to secure the gate in place to be themselves secured into the gate, but they aren't. They just slip into the sides of the gate, and would fall out if you turned the gate on its side. However, they tighten up properly and easily and the gate won't slip or fall.

I’ve had other pet gates but so far this is the best one yet. It is relatively easy to install and adjust. I like the separate cat door as I have a cat and dog. I like the opening lever, It is vey secure. It is also self closing ( but non latching). Very pleased.

Easy installation, and it works fantastically. Solved our problem of the dogs going into the cat little box. Keeps them out, and the cats can go through their small door.

Perfect size for my doorway and excellent adjustment features for the cat door. Just what I was looking for!

Works good. Solidly built. Easy to operate. I really like the adjustable small door. My cat figured it out right away.I only rated it 4 stars because I wish it had more pressure. You can only tighten it so far with the existing plastic nut then it clicks back to the last tightness. I could pull the gate out of place pretty easily. I may see if I can find some metal nuts and washers that don’t slip to use instead so I can tighten it more. If they would have provided metal nuts that didn’t slip, it would definitely be a 5 star product.I’m using it in a wooden door frame so I really don’t want to drill holes for the end brackets. These brackets would be required if the gate was installed on stairs and/or protecting a child. (My cat is smart enough to get away from our new puppy if she happens to knock down the gate.)

The quality of the gate excellent. Gate is easy to assemble. Instructions are easy to follow. The material out of which the gate is made seems to be of the highest quality. I give it high marks.
