I have not used it in the rain yet but the build is pretty impressive and the umbrella is much easier to open and close to those with weak hands. The one button to open and close makes it worth the price already

This umbrella is perfect. It is well put together and is the right size for a single person. We had some crazy weather the first day this arrived. I am talking sideways rain and wind that moved trees, something straight out of the Wizard of Oz minus the tornado and this little guy did well.Since I always seem to not have an umbrella when I need it I am going to get few of these to keep in some various places (wife's car, work, etc.) because the price isn't bad.

I bought these after many heavy rainstorms left me soaked. They are small and convenient to carry. Good quality and appearance.

Super easy open, touch of a button and it's fully open and ready to use. Great when taking dog out and only have one hand! To close, push the button again and the umbrella itself closes. However, you have to push really hard down on the handle to get it to click back into place into its compact size. Nearly impossible to do with one hand unless you use the ground to push it down into. Even with two hands it is tough, so not good for someone elderly or with little hand strength. Otherwise a really good umbrella, it feels sturdy and like it'll hold up over the years. Haven't used it in a lot of wind, but light breezes around 10 mph don't impact it at all. Perfect size for one person to fit comfortably under.

Perfect gift. Who doesn't need an umbrella? Especially one this pretty, strong and sized just right! :)

Bought this for my son to use and after the first use, he was complaining it wasn’t working. I kept brushing him off, thinking he didn’t know how to use it properly and went to show him how to use it today and realized it was in fact broken. The umbrella won’t stay up on its own and has a string hanging down, which I’m assuming is the broken piece affecting use of the umbrella. I was going to buy another umbrella, which is why I took this one out to see if my other son would be able to use it, but I will look for other options.
