I bought this for my nephew and he is growing mushrooms in it. So it's been a huge hit

From the other reviews, I guess I'm lucky it didn't arrive broken (mine was packed slightly more carefully than others describe). It's inexpensive for this type of item so I wasn't expecting amazing quality, but it's still not great. The glass itself is thick and ok quality, a little warping/striations visible particularly around the opening. But there's a fairly large scratch on the top as well as some smaller ones elsewhere, a number of bubbles in the glass, and chipping around the opening.It isn't bad enough that I'm returning it, but that large scratch in particular is a letdown, and I probably would return it if it weren't for a personal project—definitely would if it were for a gift.

Beautiful, thick glass, nice heavy weight. It doesn't shift! I filled it partway with crystals and stones, put it on a folding wood crystal ball base, then used it to hold customer business cards at my business. It looks so nice, The slant opening makes the bowl look really different. I get compliments all the time.The quality of the glass is excellent. Delivery was as expected, packaging was good (it didn't break!). Would definitely order again!
