This is such a solid and easy to put together gate that it gets 5 stars for dry areas. It is a little awkward to move around since the wood stabilizers make it so you can’t completely fold it, and the little door only opens 1 way and has a small but functioning latch only on 1 side (a top latch would have been nice). But it keeps the dog in and looks nice.When rained on though, one of the units (I bought 2, one for each end of the porch) got a little rusty at the bottom joints so I sprayed it with clear matte spray paint to keep the rust from spreading. However, rain must have gotten inside the unused screw holes and/or open joints and now when I move it…rusty water drips out in the porch. Definite bummer on a brown wood porch. So I move them back when it’s raining now. I could caulk the open spots but there are a bunch.Anyway, it still looks great and solved a problem without having to screw anything in. And the size options are great since we have a wide opening on the back stairs. I still give it 4 stars.

We purchased this about 3 years ago to keep our dogs in the kitchen of our open concept house while we are away from home so they didn’t have accidents on the carpet. It’s great because we didn’t have to put holes in our walls like other types of gates we were finding in the length we needed! The door on it is great too so we can just open it to let the dogs run the house when we’re home. We have small dogs that do not jump up on the gate so it works for us. It feels more sturdy in a zig zag pattern but we have it straight with the two end sections turned in and it doesn’t tip over which is great. It is heavy too! And well made. I even bought one for my parents recently to put in front of their garage door so the garage can be open and their dogs not run away. They love it too!

I love the way this barrier looks and the easy opening is a plus. However, the fenceing would not withstand a dog jumping up on it. In the photo on line there were two feet to give the barrier more stability, but I did not receive them. My dog is beyond jumping on things and just needs to know where her boundaries are.

Great size gate, perfect for small dogs or dogs that jump. The door is rather flimsy though. Its not level with the overall gate either and sticks out even when the door is closed and latched.

This fence with gate serves its purpose well. We just adopted a 7 month old puppy and need to keep him confines to a certain area of the house that has a wide entry area. With the walk through gate, it's much easier than having to step over. Quality is very good and easy to assemble.
