Easy to use, just small!
This mini curling iron is so cute. The plus side is that it's easy to travel with. The downside is that it does not create the beachy waves I hoped for. It heats up quickly and works as expected, I just wish it was slightly bigger.

3 barrel curling iron
This 3 barrel curling iron is perfect for my short and fine hair. It heats up quickly and after a few trial runs, I can get crimpy waves pretty quickly. This mixes up my usual style, so it's nice to have a change once a week. It also helps give me a little more volume.

Great for Travel
The fact that it is so small makes it perfect for travel. I liked that it heated up so quickly. I wish that it actually created curls like I see in the pictures, on my hair it looks more like I crimped my hair.

Quite small
The curling iron is quite small in terms of size so you will need to spend some time to curl your hair.

Very small barrels, not great with long hair
I knew this would be small, but I thought it might still work on long hair, but it doesn't. It reminds me of the 90's crimping iron after using it. I think it would work much better on short hair.

Small but amazing for my combination haystack/curly/unruly hair
I wish I could give this 1/2" triple barrel curling iron 6 stars. I'm so impressed and I'm excited to use it going forward. My hair: I have Caucasian, generally curly hair. It's pretty fine but looks thick, reaches my shoulders. My great problem is that the top half of my head grows haystack-straight-ish, flyaway, frizzy hair (with a ghost of a wavelet in it) that doesn't match the thick, tight coils that grow from the lower half of my head. :(I own a regular, single-barrel 1/2" curling iron and I often try to create matching curls, but it always winds up looking like a tangled mess or too tightly coiled and cutesy in a Victorian sort of way.But this little 1/2" tri-curler tamed the undercurls, turning them into pretty wavelets that actually hang with some casual fluidity now. More impressively, it succeeded in producing matching wavelets in the haystack-straightish hair on top. I have never achieved this look before. And I only used a bit of water spray to style. The curls have mostly held (no gel/mousse etc.) for twelve hours now.The iron is rather small (good for travel) but it didn't take too long to curl everything. Maybe 20 minutes. Each pass took only 15 seconds. I had lightly blown out the roots to start and blown through the tight undercoils to loosen them first. I only used the tri-curler on the lengths of my hair, not the roots.Compared to the 1" triple-barrel curler that I own, this works a ton better because my hair tends naturally toward 1/2" curls anyway. This is a no-frills hair appliance. There is one button that shows red when you turn it on and you just use it when you think it's ready (and it heats quickly). Useful claw clip and styling comb/pick came with it.TLDR: Love this iron; makes pretty, defined, fluid, wavelet-style curls out of my uneven, unruly hair; it's small but handy on the go

More of a crimper than a curling iron
I am not a hairstylist and the list of things I can do with my hair is VERY limited. I wanted to give this a try though so I could add something new to my list of "what can I do with my hair".It is small (after all, it's a "mini"), but since I have short, thin hair, I figured this would be perfect for me (and it is). I watched a few YouTube tutorials and then tried it out!The iron itself heated up super fast and got really hot. It took some practice, but once I got the hang of it, curling my entire head went really quickly. It delivered more of a CRIMPED look - like I braided my hair wet and went to bed. But overall, the process was easy to achieve! Would I use this on my hair every day? No, but as something different (or if I needed to add volume to my hair for another style), this is a great option!I'll note: the photos in this listing are very deceiving - the box describes this as delivering "beachy, glam, tousled waves" and that's exactly what it delivers. This is more of a crimper than a curling iron.

Compact size, Great results!
Really happy with this little three-barrel curling iron--it heats up fast (under a minute), and is so easy to use, even for a novice like myself. Since it's a 3 barrel, there's no twisting and rolling--you just section your hair, clamp the iron onto the top of the section, hold it for a few seconds, release, then move the iron down a bit to the un-waved area below, and repeat! Couldn't be easier, and the results couldn't be more satisfying. Really pretty beachy mermaid waves so quickly. Love it!The iron is small, and the barrels are narrow, so the smaller the sections of hair are, the faster it "curls" them, it takes a couple of experimental tries, but it goes fast, so the learning curve is very small. All in all a really great tool for fun and easy styles. Also came with a sectioning (rattail) comb and a clip to hold hair back.
