I must be fair; the video (picture) that this produces is excellent. And I suppose that that's a pretty big plus. However, then you have to balance against the minuses, which I will list here.1. The "continuous" recording mode is apparently for users with very short attention spans. When I first used it, I got a clip that lasted 4:59; it then malfunctioned, I reset it, and I have yet to be able to product a clip longer than 2:00. I cannot consider that "continuous" recording.2. Motion detection works, however, at least this one continues to record until you have a 2:00 clip. And, if just at the end of that clip something else begins to happen, it is slow to reset and begin recording again (generally in excess of 10 seconds). In several instances, it failed to begin recording again altogether.3. While there is no mention of an audio recording capability, during testing my partner and I happened to be in close proximity to the camera (about three feet) discussing the tests and discovered that it had muted but readily-understandable audio. I inquired, through Amazon, why the audio was so low, only to be informed that it was built without a microphone because Chinese regulations did not permit audio recordings on such a device. Now, Conbrov builds similar devices with the microphone disabled, but offers a software upgrade to enable audio. Perhaps etong (the vendor) has no idea what the capabilities of their device are? And, the last time I checked, my mailing address and residence are in the state of Texas, not Beijing or Shanghai; what do I care about Chinese regulations? I'd wager that virtually every cellular phone made and/or used in the country is capable of simultaneous video and audio recording.In conclusion, for applications where you find 2 minutes of video at some distance from the camera useful (the Field of View of the camera is 66 degrees, so anything close you will see only a small portion of) this will certainly be highly satisfactory. Unfortunately, I have and cannot conceive of any such application, and will be returning the device. I dislike doing this because, for some strange reason, the manufacturers of such cameras build them with Fields of View of from 120 to as much as 140 degrees which make identifying what is happening at any distance in excess of 25 feet or so nearly impossible.UPDATE: OK, it's not going back. I was talking to a neighbor's daughter-in-law, the owner of a small hair-and-nail salon, who's been fielding complaints about employee's lunch items disappearing from the small 'fridge in the lunchroom. She doesn't have much of a budget for "video surveillance" equipment, so we surveyed the room, located an area where it wouldn't likely be noticed but had a direct line of sight to the refrigerator, put it in "motion detection" mode, and the results of our tests were quite satisfactory. She can snap it out of the articulated mount to charge at night and snap it back in the next morning. She's thrilled with it, it's perfectly suited to the application, and I insisted she keep it free of charge until the problem is eliminated and she can consider a another solution if she feels one is necessary. And since she has only six other employees, the accumulated two-minute clips over the course of a day aren't going to fill the 32gb card either...

I've been using cameras for a very long time, film, tape, still video, digital, etc.... but I'm apparently too stupid to use this camera effectively. The lights blink, and exactly the wrong tiny bits of video get committed to the sd card, when anything gets recorded at all.I'll keep you posted, but so far this little black box has been... well, a black box.

The product received was NOT what was described on the website. It appeared to be an auto key fob and much larger than the description on the website. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. It is a totally different product than shown on Amazon.

I didn't like it first of all the buttons and hard to to use not know if it on or off, and it's not easily hidden, I found that the button smiley face one was better and could be worn without being noticed as ACT camera

The company did fully refund I was mistaken. The item though is NOT the size shown in the picture. It is more the size of a remote for your garage not small like in picture that can fit between your fingers.
