The bottles look super real but are all plastic with various nice shapes; a tall and short bottles, start, heart, tear drop and a flat bottomed circular one. It comes with various little treasures to add in to the bottles as well as some nice cording and butterflies to adorn the tops with labels that you can choose to write names on or label with any of the several recipe names. The instruction book is easy to read once you read what each glitter is named and is quite fun, feeling like you are actually making potions. I made several of the included potions recipes and had lots of fun with ideas to make more. It should be noted the the freeze powder does work very quickly so you might need a tooth pick or other small object to stir a potion after adding it if you don't want glitter sitting on the bottom. The cork caps also don't 100% block water escaping if you don't shove them all the way in so it better to stir then shake them.Either way I had fun, hope to have more with my remaining bottles, and might buy more. Should be noted since it is a glitter set, if you're gonna be doing this with kids, you'll want a drop cloth. It comes with 2 potion making sets aka 2 bowls, funnels, and unicorn horn shaped stirring wands so you can immediately play with a friend.

This is a good value! This kit came with a lot of different things. The potions will all look different. Some will have swirls, some glow, some sparkle, some bubble, and each one has its own charm. It has cute stickers for lables, mixing bowls, spoons, different types of bottles and shapes and sizes. The box is adorable and the instruction booklet is very clear and colorful. I would recomend adult supervision with this , however, because it comes with glitters, powders, and other messy stuff. It looks like a lot of fun, and I was very surprised at how much came with it for the price. This makes a fantastic gift. I bought it for my granddaughter. It is good for any child who loves fantasy and older children can use it alone, and adults will enjoy it with younger children. Fun! Fun! Fun! Well made and packaged well, arrived on time. Excellent!

I do not write reviews very often, but I wanted to tell everyone that this product is really fun and very well thought out. I was not disappointed but pleasantly surprised at the quality and the abundance of materials. I really liked that the kit included 2 of all the tools needed so that this could be a shared activity. Both my granddaughters (age 5 and 8) were able to do the activities together with no need to wait for their turn to use the measuring spoons, funnels, mixing bowls, or magic wands since their were 2 of each. So nice! My granddaughters had loads of fun making the magic potion recipes and creating their own. The magic potion recipes state that you have to believe for them to work and all the potions are positive messages. It's a great a way to encourage children to think positively and improve their well-being. I loved it. It is not just hocus-pocus. As a retired teacher and child therapist, I loved everything about this kit, accept the price. It is quite expensive. I bought it for my oldest granddaughter's birthday but debated about it awhile before deciding to buy it because of the price. If it is ever on sale, definitely buy it. Even at the regular price, I would still recommend it since it is so well-designed and just delightful fun for little girls and you, too.

My daughter loved this. Halloween is her favorite holiday and she always talks about wanting to make her own potion so when I saw this I had to get it. I’m glad I did! It was good quality for the price!

This is an okay potion kit.. just okay.It's full of glitter and foil stars, and some questionable dyes. My son really like the unicorn horns for his potions, as unicorn horn is a super rare ingredient - hard to get.The kit itself is geared more towards girls, it's purple, has heart shaped stickers, etc. My son didn't mind this, he was just excited to make potions.The instruction booklet has a nice explanation of what is included in the kit and some recipes... however there are a ton of spelling mistakes!The kit comes with a good number of various bottles and corks for your child to use - be aware though that some bottles are smaller than others and not all ingredients will fit in the small bottles.

We got this for our little guy as something fun to do on a rainy day! It was so fun, lots of different creations to make and even me and my wife had fun creating potions!

The media could not be loaded. Love this my grandaughter had hours of “spells” very well thought of!! She is 6 and can follow the directions and pics very easily. I wish they had a refill kit. I definatly will be buying again!!

Bought this for my 6 year old daughter, she absolutely loved it. She's all about magic, spells and potions.Comes with so many fun things to put in the potions and a powder to make the potion gel like so it won't open and pour everywhere. There's a little book to create potions if your little one likes following a recipe.Honestly I think I liked making these things just as much as my girl.
