Useful for temporary fixes
I note the specification suggests these could be used for UK mains voltags and currents. I'd be wary of that, though there is a note that these are widely used in the US.For temporary fixes and low voltage systems these are very easy to use, though care has to be take with multi-strand wire to get all the strands into the connector, and to only cut an appropriate length of insulation off the cable. These may not be recommended for outdoor use. However, I have used these in boundary wire for robot lawn mowers, and they work rather well. However, once the cable has been tested, and the overall system up and running, the more weatherproof connectors with the gel inside should be used. These can also be handy in the event of a cable break, again as a temporary fix.I don't know if these work well with single strand cables with a thicker core. I also suspect that these may not be compliant with the UK wiring regulations. Used appropriately in some applications these are good.

I'm impressed; and the price is certainly right.
I've only used a small number of these connectors so far but they worked perfectly and I like the way they combine the convenience of the very simple ordinary terminal block with the quick-connect approach of the much more expensive orange-clear (or orange-grey) Wago connectors. They have similar dimensions to the simple TB and include the spigot holes between the actual connection points, making them a convenient and easy fit into junction boxes intended for the simple TBs. They are different from (and have an advantage over) Wago connectors though in that they can take three separate cores (L, N, Eth) on a power supply side and directly connect them to the corresponding cores on the load side - though of course they are limited to a single cable at each side. I guess the right solution for an electrician or DIY'er is to have a supply of these as well as a supply of multi-terminal Wago's.One comment is that when I looked at the side where the cores enter, I was at first uncertain as to how the wire was inserted and if it would hold but I found in practice that when the wire was pushed in, it travelled in OK and held well there. The wire should be stripped for a shorter distance than for a Wago-style connector (7-8mm?)

So quick and easy to use
I use them to connect up point motors and signals on a model railway. They are so easy to use, especially underneath a baseboard in those hard to get to places, and you can get your wires in / out without having to use that damn screwdriver (assuming you remember where you left it). They don't hold wires of differing thicknesses together well, the thinner ones drop out (you have to entwine / solder wires together first), but they are fine for two or three wires of same size (at east up to gauge 36 I find) to make 2 or 3 way joins. They can easily be screwed / tacked in place and I find they adhere to double sided sticky pads very well (though not near a radiator, but that's down to the pads). I love them and recommend them for any jobs requiring easy jointing of small / thin equipment or speaker wires, especially useful if you want to regularly unplug / change wires and or when you are testing circuits.

Ok for low voltage wiring, home DIY style, school project etc
Though I'd give this a try and it seemed to be an innovative idea that might make life easy.Stick with normal connection block (screw type) aka choc block. This project is pretty low quality and does not grip the wire with any integrity. Flimsily design where the wires can simply fall out when you are pushing your wiring back inside the wall/box. I tried this on wire carrying 240V, fairly low amps and changed my mind half way through install. Left the bag of connections on the wall out front of the house to get rid of them but wish I had binned the for sake of safety in hindsight. Sadly just another piece of almost useless plastic rubbish in the world.

connectors
As described, perfect for what I needed

The metal is exposed
You cannot use this product alone as a connection point! It is absolutely not safe to have exposed metal at the position even adult's finger can touch it if not sealed by other method or ideally hide inside a plastic box.

Nice product
Never used these connectors before but I am pleasantly surprised how easy they are to use. Would recommend

Excellent connector system
I have used around 40 of these so far. They are quicker to use than screw fixings and less messy than soldered connections. I would buy them again.
