My wonderful nephew is headed to TCU in the fall. I got this flag to show how proud I am of him and his college choice.First...the build. This is a double-sided printed flag. The colors are deep, bold, correct, and the print quality is great. This is a large flag, 5' x 3'. There are grommets on the left side only, so if you're going to fly the flag, this will work. If you just want to put it on your porch or use it in a "flat" way, you'll need to MacGyver it somehow to get it to work. The stitching on the edges is done extremely well, with multiple passes of thread, so it's a quality build.Now the reason I didn't give this 5 stars is two-fold. First, I think it should come with grommets on all four sides. I don't think you should have to figure out how to get it to work if you choose not to fly it on a flagpole. The second reason it didn't get 5 stars is because when you say something is double-side printed, that means it usable on both sides, since it's printed on both sides, (I'm in the printing industry and this is how it works.) This item does have both sides printed, but it's not usable on the backside. Meaning, if you look at it from the back side, it's a mirror image....it's not readable since it's backwards. Now, of course being 3 letters, you'll know what it says and means, but it's still backwards. This is why I'm not using it on a flagpole. So, to be able to use it, I have to fix it somehow with grommets or such to be able to use it flat.I still think this is an excellent quality flag, from a vendor from my hometown that I'm happy to support. Just know that it's not legible from the back, and everything else is awesome.

The colors are bold and crisp. In the sun it almost sparkles due to the material they use. The finishing touches are what makes this flag last. Double and triple stitching on the edges. Then there is metal grommets embedded in a heavier material at the end of the flag you hang it on. Should be able to wave this flag for a long time. Two thumbs up.

While this flag is advertised for being indoors or outdoors, I recommend this flag more for indoor use. The material is extremely light and I'm having a hard time seeing it do well with the windy outdoors. To keep it around longer, my nephew plans to hang this flag on a protected wall on his boat dock/deck in Texas instead of the outdoor flag pole they have attached to the dock.This flag's design and color is really good and probably just as bright as some other TCU flags I've seen. If thicker material had been used, I would have given this flag 5 stars.

Desert Cactus has 5 designs of TCU flag, this one, along with purple letters on a black background, are the simplest in terms of design, actually I am going to use a different word, classic. This is the TCU lettermark and nothing else and its beautiful. Undecided if I like this or the purple on black better, they both rule. I do wish TCU had some of the more involved flags I've seen from some other schools, maybe a Riff Ram, maybe a Texas silhouette, but beggers and choosers and so on. Great flag!

This flag is awesome! I got this flag for my classroom. It is very large, and the colors are very vibrant. The materials of the flag seem to be very durable. There are metal grommets to fly on a flag pole. I totally would recommend this flag company!

Of all the TCU flags on here, this one is my favorite - minimalist & classic. The purple is the right shade - not always the case - and the logo is large & readable. Here's the thing. If you hang it from a flagpole, the image will be reversed on one side. I wish they made these like garden flags, with the correct image on both sides. And the grommets are only on the left, so you'll have to jerry-rig the right side if you decide to hang it on a railing or put it on a wall. All this company's flags are like this, so if you're deciding from among the TCU options, on design alone, I'd get this one.

My Dr. is a big TCU fan. His custom license plate was my first hint. The bathroom at his office was my second hint. When I saw this, I knew he would like it.He really did like it and was very surprised at the gift.I am pretty sure that he has it flying now.
