My daughter found an old mortar and I was worried I wouldn't be able to find a matching pestle. This one matches and it's large and works well.

it is a pretty good product but it needs some sort of instructions. I finally found out what I was doing wrong after searching the Internet. would have given it a 5 except not having even simple instructions

Pestle that matched my mortor that I use to grind up the pills my dog takes that he can't chew. It will grind anything I.e. spices, pills, grains etc. Iost my original and this one is a perfect replacement!

Almost a perfect match for a mortar and pestle set we've had forever, the pestle to which rolled off the counter and broke. My husband has been gluing the dang thing together for half a decade because he loved the set and it never even occurred to us that we could possibly buy the pieces individually, let alone matching so well. On a whim I looked up "pestle replacement" and found this at a great price, right at the top of the list. It looks just right, and has a good weight and shape.

It is a pestle and I used it as such to pound garlic (with a pinch of salt), rosemary, coriander and cumin seeds etc. Worked well.

I had this prior which fractured so I decided to buy a new one which arrived fractured in the box!!!! Poor quality and will not last!! Don't waste your money!
