Excellent quality
Having previously purchased the thumb support version when my wife had problems with her wrist this was my first choice. They are expensive but the quality and the fit are excellent

Causes pressure in the thumb area
The only redeeming thing about this splint is that it has metal rods on the sides as well (not clear from the description). It keeps the external (ulnar) side of my wrist from moving sideways. I’ve had this repetitive strain disorder for almost a year without having been able to get a decent splint either from the orthopaedic hospital or from the internet. One of the issues I’m finding with all of them is that they cause a lot of pressure everywhere around the thumb and cause burns in the fold between the thumb and index finger. I’ve had to cut the hole on this one much bigger in order to give the thumb a bit of space but it’s still causing pain underneath.Because it’s the same model for both hands, the rod on the other side is now pressing on the thumb for above. At the same time, there’s a bit too much space for the hand to move upwards, which causes me pain. The only good thing is the way you can wrap it in diffierent ways depending where you want support.I hope I can at least use it during the night when the wrist needs to be completely immobilised but I’m not feeling hopeful.I use a sock with a hole for thumb underneath as i don’t tolerate artificial materials against the skin. The materials are also such that I doubt whether you can wash it effectively. The others I’ve had to pop in the washing machine for effective removal of bacteria as it collects so easily throughout the day, but they tend to shrink. I doubt this will look neat for very long.

I wish it would’ve worked better.
This splint brace has actually caused more problems than it has helped.Which is a shame because in theory it works very well, but I think with it being an ambidextrous hand brace it complicates a few of its functions.I measured everything correctly, made sure with my physio that this was the right sort of support I needed and even had my doctor double check. After about a week of use I went back in for a routine appointment with my physio to discover I’ve developed more injuries from using it.The very top ajustable strap on the back of the hand also sticks out, so I’m hoping maybe I’ve just had a faulty product.Another thing worth mentioning is that I’ve suffered a lot of skin irritation (nearly blistering) around where there too of the brace sits and where the thumb should sit out of the brace. I also checked with my physio that I was wearing it correctly incase it was a fault of my own doing. But I was assured it was strapped up and fitted properly.I really wanted this product to work for me.

Very comfortable and lightweight
Excellent item and exactly what I needed after having a sprained wrist. Found that it works really effectively with no irritation as the fabric is really soft and uses the 3M style of velcro so it doesn't collect "bits" like normal velcro does. The velcro sticks anywhere on the item not just in specified areas. I have large arms so find this fits nicely by wrapping the wrist fastener at an angle rather than directly around. I also wear it slightly loose so that it acts like a frame around my wrist protecting it and preventing it from bending. there are two 3 metal splints in this item making it really sturdy and protective. It doesn't make your hand/arm hot either. Would highly recommend and would buy again if I needed to.

Helped my with my tendon issue. AA++
After doing some research I settle on this. The light weight design, ambidextrous use, placemetn of the metal inserts (which can be manipulated to fit) andfastening features, all meant that this stood out.Having worn it to help with a tendon issue in my wrist while I saw consultants and had MRI scans, etc, I can honestly say it has been by far the best wrist support I have owned (and I have owned 4 different types).Obviously avoid if you need thumb support too but for general wrist support it excels, to the point where the consultant I have been seeing took a look and is now looking at it as a possible product he can recommend.

Excellent comfortable wrist splint
An excellent well designed strap that is surprisingly comfortable particularly when you follow the instructions and don't wear it incorrectly like some negative reviewers. You can wear it for long periods without your skin getting sweaty even overnight. The metal plates are an excellent splint for your wrist. You don't need to tighten the straps too hard to stabilise your wrist between the three plates.

Well made and very comfortable
Through a serious road crash in 1976, my right hand and wrist were badly damaged. Let the years I have tried many wrist supports and this is the first that I have been able to wear for long periods. To make it more comfortable I have removed one of the metal stiffening supports.
