Great product, bad packaging
My (almost 5 year old) son wanted this toy really badly after seeing the commercial for it about a million times. He ever memorized the song and ran around the house singing it. I ordered this for Christmas so he hasn't gotten it yet (I'll update my post once he starts playing with it).I got one for my 2 year old niece for her birthday as well. I got the Crocodile for him and the lady bug for her. The two of them played with the lady bug one for hours and had a lot of fun. She thought it was so funny and kept falling over giggling at it while he used it as a puppet and pretended to chew on her face lol.It's a great toy and the blanket part is unbelievably soft! I wish they had one in adult size so I could use it for myself!The size was a little disappointing though. My son is an average 5 year olds height and the blanket it JUST long enough to reach his feet. If he gets any taller it will be too short to cover up with laying down.I was also disappointed in the packaging inconsistency with the toys. Luckily the crocodile is for my own son because it wasn't even in a box! It came in a plastic bag. If my nieces came like that, it would look as if I was giving her a used toy. Her lady bug came in a box but the box was so beat up it looked as if my son kicked it around the house for an entire day. Luckily neither blanket is messed up and they both look brand new but the packaging inconstancy was not what I normally get from Amazon.. which I ordered both via the Prime shipping so they were both shipped from Amazon and not a third party.I would definitely recommend getting one but beware of the length of the blanket and that if this is a present, the packaging may not be great.

not the same as the picture
I chose this particular cuddleuppet because its face was much cuter than the other cuddleuppet options. In the picture online, the ladybug does not have bags under its eyes, and it has 3 little eyelashes sticking out of the outer corners of its eyelids (making it look like a girl). The product, when it arrived, had no eyelashes and had bags under its eyes. It looks like an exhausted boy, when I was expecting a cute, bright eyed girl puppet. If I'd realized it had the same bleary-eyed look as the others, I would have chosen a different one. It's going to work out ok as the Christmas gift I purchased it for, but I was still disappointed when I opened it!

Very cute blanket
I don't usually go for overhyped products,but I like the Cuddleuppets(maybe it's the catchy song?). I bought several of these as Christmas Eve gifts for my daughters and nephew and all three loved their particular cuddly creature.It's a little expensive for the size,hence the four stars,instead of five.The entire blanket is just big enough for a toddler,so older kids might use it more for a throw for their feet or shoulders,as my daughter does.The designs are very cute,though.My youngest daughter wanted the ladybug and hasn't let hers out of her sight since she got it.All in all,it's well-made and should stand up to the washing,drying,pulling,stretching,etc a childs' blanket goes through.

Great item
My daughter saw the commercial for these things while watching her weekend morning cartoons and just had to have it. I'm glad I found this on amazon because the price was much better than ordering it through the TV.She loves this blanket and sleeps with it every night. She will use the puppet part occasionally but it's mostly for the blanket. It is a little smaller than I thought it would be, but it's still a decent size that is the only reason I gave it four stars. The material is soft and seems to be lasting through her dragging it everywhere and a few washes.

I underestimated this product
OK, I will admit that I was skeptical. I mean, how good can a product advertised on Saturday morning cartoons be? I will also admit I was wrong. This is much better than I expected. The blanket is much larger than I thought it would be, and much better fabric than I feared. The construction is actually very good, and I expect this toy to last a LONG time.Fortunately, they also seem to have changed the sad/creepy/sleepy eyes that everyone dispised. We bought three -- this ladybug, a unicorn, and a dog, and not a single under-eye bag in sight.My daughter couldn't be happier, and that makes me happy!

It's a blanket AND a puppet!
We don't watch commercials in my house (wish I could say no TV either, but I'm not a saint). But when my daughter came home from my Mom's singing "Cuddle Cuddleupets, blankets that are puppets..." well, it is pretty cute! And my Mom got it for her for Xmas and she loves it. Sleeps with it every night and puts on puppet shows in the daytime. I haven't washed it yet, but it seems like it will survive that without a problem. I will re-review if it is less-than-sturdy in washer.

Child loves this
This was a Christmas present for a 5-year-old relative. She's at the age where she usually puts the presents aside and plays with the boxes. But not this present. She "wore" it all Christmas Day and it hasn't left her side since. Her Mom says she named it and carries it everywhere. The picture on the website doesn't do this justice. It is bigger than I thought it would be and very well made. In fact, I went back and bought 5 more for other children in the family. Would definitely recommend this.

Those sneaky Ad Execs who put these toy commercials on in between Bubble Guppies and Team Umizoomi sure get my daughters' attention. This item was a must have last Christmas. It's used more as a made bed throw over than a cuddling blanket, but my kids want it around, so I'm happy with the purchase overall.

They're ok but expensive
The blankets are very soft and cute but extortionate.I would pay this sort of money for a blanket for myself, but I think it's way too much for a small childrens one.These were the ones my nieces wanted for Christmas 2012 so I had no choice really.I say save your money and buy something else much more worthwhile.
