Great Reference tool
I loved this book's diversity and the examples of how to differentiate characters with similar concepts. I am glad to have bought this and hope to see more in the future!

Helpful and includes diverse characters
The instructions were clear and helpful for beginners and advanced artists. As someone who’s been drawing for 10 years, it’s hard to find a stylized art book that has new tools for improvement; yet this book was very helpful in understanding simplifying the body into forms. They include characters of many differing body types that tend to be difficult to find in these types of art books. This book is almost very helpful for example of good line weight and value scales.

Very good for character design and reference, might not be the best for people just learning art.
As someone who placed a pre-order WAYYY back when (around last year for context), I am VERY pleased with it. All of the characters and designs are so creative and fun and just nice to look at. However, if you're a person at the very beginning of your art journey, this book might not be the "How to Draw Anime Step-by-Step" tutorial book you're looking for.

Love this book!!!
I've loved how to draw books for pretty much my entire art journey. It's such a cool experience to get to own one by one of my favorite artists!

I love this book
I've been a fan of ABD Illustrates for years. I've gotten into doing art studies of artists I admire so the chance to have a physical book to look at and study from is a dream come true! I've spent the entire day going over this book form cover to cover.

Not fully what I expected
So I mainly got this to support the artist, I love their work! If you like his art then get it!But a couple of things1: I expected a bit more than what we got. From what I can tell there's 10 QR codes, tbh they should have been placed better because I thought there were originally only 2 because all the others are placed closer to the spine. That's just a nitpick but they should have been placed better. He doesn't talk about his process or anything, they are speedpaints, I personally don't think of them as tutorials. When I hear tutorial I think about some form of text or speech in a video talking about some of the process.2: I was expecting a bit more......text? There's over 100 pages but there's only 4 pages dedicated to tips.Besides those 2 things it's your basic how to draw that shows about 5 pics of the process from rough to finished. Great for anyone who likes and enjoys Alex's art and wants to support him! Now only if this came in hardback! 😭

Supporting my favorite artist (人*'∀`)。*゚+
I just skimmed through the pages and it already looks amazing! The poses look so good and dynamic and the character designs are both great! Something I need to work on myself (^~^;)ゞ I can't wait to properly go through this book ♡

Good for using as reference and details.
Not only is a great book but it also provides some interesting material for you, it also gives ideas for references to draw your own characters such as their poses, clothing, face and many other things. I’m happy to have such a great book.
