Good rechargeable Li-ion batteries and charger
We much prefer rechargeable Li-ion batteries over the NiMH types for a couple of reasons. First, Li-ion batteries are true 1.5v, versus the 1.2v of the NiMH types, and they deliver that same 1.5v right up until they run out of juice. And second, the Li-ions tend to hold their charge longer than the NiMHs do.What all the above adds up to is that we are in the process of replacing our older NiMH batteries with Li-ions as the older batteries wear out.All in all, we are pleased with these CT-ENERGY AAA Li-ion rechargeable batteries and charger and consider the package to be a fair value at the current $21.99 price point less any available discounts and/or coupons.

Awesome
Works very well, it came with batteries which was a plus. Good for traveling as it is very small.

Finally a rechargeable AAA Li-ion battery
I am a big fan of rechargeable batteries, specifically 18650 bats. I build a lot of projects using them and convert some things to the 3.7V batteries if possible.I have never liked the Ni-MH batteries because they only put out 1.2V DC and a lot of things don't operate well at that voltage. Having real 1.5V DC batteries that are rechargeable is great.Batteries arrived fully charged and read 1.564V DC out of the box. I went ahead and topped 'em off anyway, and noted that the charger has a red light when charging and a green light when (probably) done.I did not set up my test equipment to verify the claim that these are actually 1200 mWh as advertised, but I will test the batteries soon. (note the mWh as opposed to mAh rating) As they are *supposed* to maintain that 1.5V DC constantly until discharged, this will be a big improvement over NiMH batteries, or any other type of AAA bat.I will report back if the batteries don't perform as expected.

Good value for Charger with four AAA li Ion batteries
For $22, you get a charger with 4 Lithium ion rechargeable batteries. Being Lithium ion, these are rated at 1200 mWh with 1500 cycles. Compared to my nickel metal hydride rechargeable batteries which are rated at 800 mWhr these have 50% more capacity. I cannot attest to these particular claims but if so this represents a decent value at about $5.50 per battery. The charger itself is compact and can be used for either four AAA or AA batteries. It has a charging cord but you need to provide a USB power source. The charger is not UL certified and does not appear to have independent certification. It is only to be used with lithium Ion rechargeable batteries.

Work Great
I love that these charge fast, are rechargeable, and they come with four in a pack. The value is great since you get four and they are rechargeable. Just plug them up, and it turns green in no time and you are ready to go. Overall very pleased with them!

COMPACT!
I love how compact this charger is! We have limited space in our camper so this is PERFECT to keep out there! It's also nice that it charges both AA and AAA.

Super bright at first, but not long lasting in my 5 hour candles.
Over the past few years, I’ve been switching from regular alkaline batteries to all rechargeable batteries. In this short period of time I’ve learned their is a difference between different types and strengths of rechargeable batteries. Ni-MH rechargeable batteries are usually less powerful than lithium ion rechargeable batteries. Moral of the story is not all rechargeable. batteries are the same. Lithium ion rechargeable batteries usually are better than Ni-MH batteries. However, you can not compare lithium's mWh to a Ni-MH mAh, they are not apples to apples. These 1200 mWh are between a Ni-MH 700-1000 mAh. My other set of 2600 mWh AA lithium ion batteries produced a brighter light that outlasts, as well as, out-performs the other AA Ni-MH batteries. For candles, it’s not as important but it is for higher demanding devices, it is. I have a set of candle I light every night, they have a built in timer to run for 5 hours and turn off. As you can tell in the picture the short candle has the CT-Energy brand of three 1200 mWh lithium ion batteries in it, it is the brightest candle in the front row. The candle just to the right in the picture has one lithium ion and two strong 1000 mah Ni-MH batteries. The candle that is to the left is only Ni-MH batteries. The first day it’s hard to notice the difference but the short candle's light was whiter. However as each day passes the Ni-MH candles gets dimmer and more yellow as the battery life diminishes quickly. Unfortunately, after 3 days these lithium batteries lost their luster and the NiMH batteries outshined the lithium batteries. From my experience having both rechargeable batteries, the lithium ion batteries should be superior to the NI-MH rechargeable batteries. I am not sure why these batteries are not outlasting the Ni-MH batteries. These batteries came with their own charger, this charger only charges lithium ion rechargeable batteries. It will not charge Ni-MH batteries. The charger charges up to 4 batteries at once and can accommodates both AAA or AA rechargeable batteries. This set comes with 4 AAA 1200 mWh lithium ion rechargeable batteries, the charger, the charging cable, and a storage case for the batteries. Not sure if my batteries are duds they charged fine, they just do not last very long in my candles:(
