We purchased this water filter unit because we have a high volume of plants and humidifiers. This has been a great savings for us because we no longer need to buy distilled water. It is handy to have near by and having the ease of use and as a bonus of not using plastic jugs.

Great product. Glad I found it on Amazon. I only wish Amazon carried the filters for it.

filters are so awful that they leave a skim on our cups so thick and clingy that they don't come clean even in the dishwasher. All utensils that touch it have to be hand scrubbed with an abrasive cleaner to clean. This is a nightmare level event; Colin, why are you assuming we would want to trust you again with the effort of installing a replacement set of the same filters!?We have been drinking this crap because we trusted you once already, before we go any further in any direction we have a right to know what that residue is and to candidly inform us if you have put our health at risk. Colin, we start right here; 1. what is it; what could it possibly be? The next question is 2. How did this happen? 3.How common is it and why would we assume it is unlikely to happen again with your filters?" Colin, the product rep, failed to reply. That means he is more interested in selling junk than he is in our health. Product returned!This is a completely new unit, ordered 3/22/24 New filters were washed and water forced through them for two minutes as instructed. First 4 gallons of water discarded second four retained some of it drunk. it coated our teeth and glasses. We discarded the rest then did another gallon filtered as test, I failed just as bad.

I had an issue with product but the customer service was excellent and fast in correcting the issue. Thanks again

Stainless steel and good water flow from the spout which is also stainless steel . I realize it says it will not remove TDS from water but it did not say it would increase them either . The water from the tap is 146TDS after putting it through this Purewell filter system , the TDS levels increased to 197 . So it makes one question if the filters are doing any good at all to help the water quality or as it appears making it worse .It would take a lab test to find out which we may do just to see if this unit is doing anything to improve water quality . It is very slow to filter . It took about two hours for the water to run through and there is a bit remaining in the top chamber that does not drain through .

The stand needs to be a little taller so we can fill the cups without angling them.
