It us a bit cheap and flimsy but 100% works
This is from one night, left in a cold place where it would generate a little heat like a cat! In the dark. Did not work next to a heat source I.e fire or radiator obviously

Portable flea trap
do not buy this trap , cheaply made and doesn't work , the bulb is one of those cheap nasty plastic ones which lets off no heat and dies quickly, not one flea was captured , the base is made from cheap plastic tubes and looked like a child made it , i tried this as an alternitive to the plug in ones , biggest mistake ever when i recieved the trap i actually thought it was a joke and the real one must still be in the post ! I don't normally write reviews but i wanted to warn people not to waste their money , stick with the plug in ones which work really well.

Works.
I've only given it 3 stars because the bulb stopped working after a week but before that it attracted lots of fleas.

Fly trap
It definitely catches them on the sticky pads after fumigating it caught lots of hatchling fleas but ideally 2 in every roomBuy extra sticky padsBuy large pack of batteries as on 24 hours a day I ordered 4 and just ordered another 4They are best used after fumigationI have been using for 2 weeks since fumigation as it can take 3 weeks to kill everything of different cycles but I have caught 100s of baby fleas so farIm definitely getting less every day about 30 to 40 per roomI won’t stop using them until consistently nothing in the trapsI’m camping in my garden not using the rooms if I didn’t have the traps I would not see the hatchlings gross little gits

Looks cheap, works a treat
I opened the packaging for this and thought I'd been had, how could this be effective? And yet, it is fantastic. Easy to build, easy to operate, a little heavy on battery use but I can't fault the outcome. Much better than more expensive rechargable LED systems.

Don't listen to bad reviews and use properly
This worked wonders, used in a dark cold room at night, it eradicated a flea problem. It is flimsy but not terribly so, the light itself is quite nice and served as a nice night light, battery also lasts ages

A Flea Trap Without a Heat Source is a Waste of Money
I have a multi-cat household with a seasonal flea problem so I bought 3 flea traps - this one plus 2 tht use an incandescent bulb. Firstly, fleas are attracted to body heat, not to light - this trap uses an LED that does not give off any heat, so it does not attract any fleas towards the trap. It will catch fleas that happen to wander past, but that is all. The results of my test in a single night (all in rooms with known infestations) were dozens of fleas on each of the heated flea traps, but only 3 or 4 on this non-heated flea trap.Basically, don't waste your money on any non-heated flea trap. A heated flea trap (whether it has a heat pad underneath the sticky pad or a 15W incandescent bulb above it) will attract and catch 10 times the number of fleas. It might work as a moth trap, but not as a flea trap.

Not so good.
Cheap and cheerful materials, seems very flimsy, being battery operated gives this lightweight unit the ability to be placed anywhere.Would recommend placing under furniture to avoid it being walked on, as this model is not a robust structure.Started working though from the moment it was placed in the room with the flea problem.Simple design but effective. Delivery was prompt and well packaged. The big downside is that the battery life only lasted two weeks, so in the end not good value for money, hence only two star rating.
