Tricklestar Tier 2 7 outlet Advanced PowerStrip+ w/ Multi Sensor

I bought this because it says it has a multi sensor. I figured it meant - motion sensing. That wasn't the case. I wanted to hook it up to a room has a; Computer, Printer and Clothes Iron. Well guess what it didn't work for these devices. The only way to turn it on is by using my TV Remote which is pointless since I don't have a TV in this room. I am now using it in another room with a TV. Buyer beware.

I recommend NOT buying this product. It is a complete guessing game as to whether or not this strip will power my electronics. I read the instructions and followed everything as it states, and sometimes this powers up, sometimes it doesn't. There is nothing more frustrating than not being able to rely on a product to work. For such a simple device -- a power strip -- there should not be this much complication. It's absurd and extremely FRUSTRATING. This intermittent kind of use makes me FURIOUS as a customer.

Garbage product. misleading ratingThere are 62.5% five star reviews... look at them.. This thing simply does not work. I had a laptop and an external monitor and a phone connected in every conceivable configuration and it will not power all three at the same time because of it's "switched" energy saving feature.

Be warned - This is a product for a very specific situation - a TV with a lot of other TV related audio and video devices hooked up to it. I do not have that situation so the product was just frustrating. Most of the outlets are switched so the TV has to be on - or they just do not work. It was a gift. Once I realized it did not do what a normal surge protector strip does, I just got rid of it. Live and learn.

Did not buy off here, I received from a energy efficient program.Figured I’d let people know. This thing is junk. Had it all set up with my electronics, all plugged into appropriate spots. After 2 weeks it would randomly shut off my tv when pushing the okay button on my tv remote. It would randomly turn on my tv. Very useless power strip.

I got one of these as a gift and junked it within minutes of plugging it in. If you want to watch your tv for more than an hour at a stretch, you have to constantly be picking up the remote and doing anything so that the "energy saving" function doesn't shut off everything that's plugged into it. Just buy a normal power strip.

Picked up one of these from goodwill assuming that it was a 7 port power strip. Without the sensor, only 2 of the 7 ports are powered. Glad I only paid like $4 for it.
