May not work for every dog
Our pup could pull these loose from her bowl with very little effort. Once they were loose, they were chewed to tiny pieces in a matter of minutes. To be fair, she is a chewer, and these seemed to present a challenge. I believe they would be fine for a dog who is not so "fun" driven; although I would monitor closely for the first little while they are being introduced.

Suction cups don't work well. Easily slides around inside the bowl
