When placing the magnetic flap over the arms of the sunglasses, it's not always that easy to do it one-handed. This is especially if the gap between the arms and the lens of the glasses is not very big. So if you are driving, you may need to wait until you're stopped to feed the flap over the arms.The other issue is the magnetic flap cannot close over very thick arms, in cases if the arms are made of thick plastic or wood. I was not able to get this to hold my sports sunglasses.Other than that, this has worked great. I like the low profile and minimalist look.

I love this sunglass/eyeglass holder. It's the third one I've had and it's the best out of the bunch. It's so easy to open and close with the magnetic clasp and isn't so big that it's in the way. The previous two I had were hard plastic and a bigger footprint. The first one I forgot and left in the car I traded in at the dealership and it wasn't worth going back for but then I found it was no longer available on Amazon. So I got a similar one but it just wasn't the same. All's well that ends well though because I found this one and I like it the best!

The visors in my truck are extremely thick, because the have “extensions” contained within them. It has been difficult to find anything that works with them, regardless of the item’s purpose. So, I’m very happy to have these, which not only work with the thick visor, but also can handle my chunky sunglasses. I’m not sure how helpful my pictures are, but they show how the glasses are held (by use of a strong magnet, not a snap or other hard to manipulate closure), how the “clip” fits onto the thick visor, and the substantial size/length of the back, which makes this very secure.

I was frustrated not having any place to store my sunglasses in my car. I purchased this cool sun visor clip and my troubles were solved. I love how sturdy and easy it is to use. I can also store papers in addition to my sunglasses. Great value. I high recommend this product!
