Lost in Time

Lost in Time is a pacy thriller with a lot going on. It's got it all; an unexplained murder, characters with secrets in their pasts, time travel and dinosaurs.A group of scientists have invented a machine that can take a person back to the past. However it's not that accurate and there are multiverse issues, so their backers come up with a novel use for the technology. They license it to governments around the world to send dangerous criminals back to the Triassic, a cheaper alternative to Death Row.Then one of the scientists is murdered and Sam, another of the team, confesses in order to protect his daughter Adeline. Adeline knows her father is innocent and dedicates the rest of her life to clearing his name. But all his colleagues have secrets, so who can she trust?The plot stretches credulity a little (did I mention the dinosaurs?), but if you are prepared to suspend disbelief and just go along for the ride, it's both bonkers and a whole lot of fun.

As always AG Riddle gives an enjoyable read. Interesting premise and as soon as the story starts you are along for the ride.

Interesting with several twists to the plot. Touches on advanced science without the need to explain or fully understand it.

Wonderfully written book that gets even better as it progresses. Interesting characters and I didn’t expect the plot/character twist.Stand-alone book; not part of a series.Thoroughly enjoyable and I certainly recommend you try it too.

I have read another book by the same author. I had the same reaction. A great idea at the start turns into a bit of a mess. In the end I couldn’t be bothered reading the last few pages.

I really enjoyed this. The sort of book that you grab any chance you can to read a bit more and just good fun.

A gem of a book I found that I would highly recommend. I often struggle to get gripped and this one gripped me from the word go.

A book can have a great theme & story line, but if it’s poorly written it’s a dud.This book is not that. A.G. Riddle is a technically excellent writer. The flow is smooth & consistent. It’s easy to keep your head wrapped around the flow - even with the difficult theme of time travel.Add into that a well developed plot & characters PLUS an excellent series of twists and you have a story that can’t be beat.It’s a must read!

The character “doubles” confused me a bit but I couldn’t put the book down. A great read that kept me spellbound!

What a wild ride indeed. A twisting and turning plot through the ages which kinda throws you for a loop. Hehe

This novel was a decent read but nothing spectacular. I watched so many isekai shows that my standards related to time travel stories is a bit high. If you are done reading this book you should check out steins gate and summertime rendering anime in your free time. Minds will be blown 🤯

There's too many things I would want to say about how amazing this book is!Time-travel, dinosaurs, murder mystery AND, last but not least, family love: this is the definition of the perfect book for me!Just when I was starting to think I figured out the story, a ground breaking plot twist shatters the whole thing! And then, I just couldn't put the book down!
