Read the instructions! I almost didn’t & I would have ruined one of the 2 pens. The effect is very pretty & noticeable more so after it dries. Very nice over colors too. I just used the pen over die cut cardstock in the photo- hope you can see the sparkle. If you want a lot of sparkle go with glitter or Stickles. I’m going to try it on word die cuts, it will probably be a little classier than glitter, but for the Unicorn Princesses (3 nieces) that say you can never have too much glitter- this isn’t for you 😉

Fussy to get started. Not much shine.

It always seems to be all or nothing when i shake the press the "press" button. I undetstand the concept of taking my time and going slow but it seems to think it's a dog getting to be like a race horse on a fire hydrant. When i empty the containers, i'll try making my own shimmer.But! While rather subdued, it is nice when used as random streaks.

This is just hat I was looking for to add a little extra shimmer to my cards, I just love it!!!!

These pens give just a touch of shimmer. A little something added to your project as if seen out the corner of your eye. As apposed to being slapped in the face with GLITTER!

Love this for adding subtle sparkle to my art projects - it doesn't leave a water mark on white paper just a fine sparkle which is perfect for something like fairy wings.It shows up a bit more when put over a colour, how much ot shows up depends on the lighting.You have to take out a cap and then reassemble and squeeze the pen to make it work in the first place, from then on it's easy and very controllable. Its a brush tip so you can cover a large space, or use it for tiny detail too.Hope this was helpful?
