From the Manufacturer Bring the hunt indoors with Duck Hunter from Interactive Toy Concepts! This groundbreaking new toy is both safe AND fun! Just place the duck on the “Pop Up” charger for 10 seconds, remove, flip the duck’s “on” switch…toss…and take aim! The shooter fires a safe infrared beam, and incorporates realistic loading and shooting sound effects. The Duck has actual flapping wings, and a stabilizing tail. Flight direction can be easily adjusted for straight or circular flight patterns. Your first two hits will stop the wings for 1 second, decreasing altitude slightly…and the third hit brings it down! Happy Hunting!

Tough to fly, but fun for little kids for a few minutes at a time
Young boys like the gun with the chk-chk sound it makes when you "reload" even without doing anything with the duck. They use it for whatever gun oriented imaginary game they are playing at the moment.By moving a lever on the back of the duck, you can get it to fly (or fall very slowly) straight or in circles. The circles are fairly wide, around 12 - 15 foot diameter, so it is hard to use this inside, but it seems too fragile to use outside unless you are very careful. We haven't tried it outide yet, so that is only speculation. I have to say that it is still in seemingly perfect condition despite many indoor crashes. The duck pauses and crashes when you shoot it the first two times, so it is really only good for one shot in the air. I don't think anyone (even a 6 year old) has ever missed the duck, so the accuracy is very questionable. It seems that pulling the trigger with the gun pointed in the general direction is good enough. For the price, I'd say young kids (ages 4 - 8?) get enough enjoyment out of it, but it certainly does not work the way it is advertised.

fun
this toy isnt really a indoor toy unless you have a 100 foot tall house. it is a outside toy. i got this yesterday the gun takes 3 triple A batteries and when i put them in i tryed flying it in my up stairs and it didnt work really at all. it would either hit the wall or the ground or anything that was close to it. so i brought it outside but i didnt really do it alot because it is the winter and the snow was going in the charger part on the bottom and it almost went on my roof a couple of times but outside it is soooooooo much funn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it flys all over the place and it is alot of fun trying to shoot it! i highly reccamend this gun for outdoor use not in door unless you have a really tall ceiling and enough room, alot of room. but it is really fun outside!! love it!!!!!!!

Duck shoot
This toy was a hit with my 6 grandsons. We have two acres and they really enjoy playing with this toy in the back yard. One time my grandson missed the duck and it kept flying across the street into the horse corral. We had to take the four wheeler to recover it. That is a story they love to tell everyone. I couldn't believe it went that far, a little more than the length of a football field. The ducks fly really well and land upright. They have had these toys for a year and still play with them regularly. I didn't think they would last long but I am surprised to find they are very durable. They are still in great condition and working well. This is a toy I would recommend to anyone with rough and tough boys who like the outdoors. It also is a really fun way to improve their hunting skills. My two grown sons even have fun with this toy when they can get it away from my grandsons. My husband got one for himself so he could join in the fun with his grandsons. I guess it is true some things boys never outgrow.

unsure of product
The duck hunter game was given to my son from Santa. Christmas was pretty lean this year, but thats how it goes. The duck wasnt even close to being able to fly. I mean it just dropped to the ground, even with new batteries. (I tried several new batteries.) The only thing I can think of why it wouldn't fly is we are at 7000 feet in elevation. I couldn't find anywhere on the box that said anything about the air being too thin at any elevation. So maybe its a fine product, but it wouldn't work at all where we live. Its sad but I don't even want to go through the hassle of trying to return it. I'm just saving up to get something else for my kid. It would be nice to hear back from someone and find out if the elevation has anything to do with it not flying here. I'm sure that has a lot to do with it. So this isn't a BAD review, I'm just not sure if the toy is garbage or if the air is just to thin here.

Do yourself a fovor
Please do yourself a favor..not to see that horrible look of disappointment on your childs face and your wallet. The whole idea of this toy is great but the durability and build of this toy is horrible. Out of the package the wing was broken. So now I am just waiting for my refund. I will not be buying my son another replacement. He has been asking for this since before xmas. This was a birthday gift for him today. Needless to say he was very disappointed. But even my 12 year old son after seeing this toy and the way it was built has decided that it was very cheap and poorly made and he would rather have some Wizard 101 Crowns. Just dont waist your time. If its not broken when your get it im pretty sure that the first time this toy hits the ground it will be. For $30-40 its just a horrible HORRIBLE toy. If it was maybe $10 it MIGHT be worth it. I really hope future buyers will listen to me and others and not make the decision to purchase this toy. I also hope that they will be taken off the shelves so others do not have to waist their time and money.

Duck Hunting
My 11 year old grandson and I took this toy to the school grounds so we would have plenty of room to fly it. It was a little windy day, My grandson let the duck go and it soared past the school grounds and over the 2 story homes. We went duck hunting for the next 2 hours but never found it. We both thought it could be a fun "inside" toy.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!
Do not expect this toy to perform as advertized. Duck does not fly! I gave this to my nephew as a Christmas present, he spotted the video advertisement on the internet and had to have it. Needless to say, he was very disappointed Christmas day. A note to the wise, if you expect to return anything to Amazon vendors, keep all packaging! Vendor expects items to be returned to appear new, will not accept it back if it does not look NEW. My nephew lost some of the packaging opening it up on Christmas day, like most kids will do. I now own a piece of junk, vendor will not accept it back. My recommendation is to NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY, THIS ITEM IS A RIP OFF!
