Digimon: The Movie / Digimon: Digital Monsters [Region 2] (English audio)

I bought this for my husband as he never got to watch it when he was a child. Let's just say that he was a very happy man child the day that it arrived and he thoroughly enjoyed watching the movie even with the terrible Angela anaconda opening. All in all a great purchase. Was sold as used good condition and I think that it was excellent it just had a few fingerprint smudges on the disk.

I'll admit, when it originally came to cinemas, I didn't go to see it because I was a Pokémon fan, but I grew into Digimon. I do love the film and the humour of it, but then again, I am a big child and still have the same interests I had when I was younger. I can't fault the film, although it would've been nice to have scenes cut out from the English dub as well as Japanese dubbing and subtitles. If you watch the Japanese AND the English, you'll realise they're very different films due to what's been cut out and what the Japanese actually say. I'd of liked to have had both just to see the comparison, but I can see why it wasn't included. The Japanese version is much darker (Tai and Kari's dad is an alcoholic that comes home drunk late at night?). Over all, I do love this film, and so does my friend, hence why I bought two copies!

So glad managed to get this brand new dvd. Not see it since I was a kid. Was just as good as I remembered. Fast delivery too

I won't even try to pretend this review is objective. Probably the best film ever made. Used to watch it all the time when I was like 10 on VHS, so when I got this and flicked it on every single scene and nuance somehow striked me as being *perfect*. Must be the nostalgia.Absolutely love the animation style, similar to other Mamoru Hosoda films.This DVD pack contains the first 3 Digimon movies, and kinda told as one big movie with 3 different time periods.In short, if you used to watch and love Digimon as a child, get this right now.

The movie itself is fantastic and the punchlines are hilarious! A real trip down nostalgia lane!The only problem I found was the 4:3 display (edited from the original 16:9... I really don't understand why they did that!

I remember this when I was younger and now being in my 20s, I still love it. Loved the fact it has different time periods within the movie. Love the old digimon characters, my favourite out of all the Digimon generations. Would recommend this movie for those who watched Digimon when they were younger or even nowadays.

Cant believe i've found this dvd. I've grown up watching digimon in italian and i cant find the seasons adventure 1 and 2 so this is the next best thing i could do. I've watched this movie in english but not in italian cant wait for it to come very buzzing :D .

I was thoroughly impressed with how quickly my item arrived to me, the case was a little damaged but the film is a piece of my childhood so I'm just happy I have it on dvd not video. I've bought from this seller before and will continue to.

I remember watching it as a kid so I got it for my kids. Specially my daughter who loves Digimon. She loves it.

Servizio amazon ottimo come sempre, una garanzia, che dire il costo é un po' "sopra la norma" per un film che oramai ha ben 20 anni, però lo giustifica il fatto che un titolo del genere é da molto fuori catalogo e soprattutto in questi ultimi tempi solo gli appassionati sanno veramente apprezzarne la trama.. Davvero un nell'acquisto... Grazie
