This is a fantastic knife for cutting sourdough bread. I always had trouble cutting through the crust without tearing it. This knife easily handled the crust and went through all of it without much effort on my part. The oly negative is that the magnetic blade cover does not seem to be magnetic. Or the metal of the knife is not drawn to magnets. But that is monor compared to all the benefits.

I love this knife! The first time Inised it it felt a little different. But after the first slice I was loving it. It cut the bread with ease. It cut evenly and smoothly. Love the case and blade guard. Excellent product.

With a regular knife it can be difficult to slice homemade bread straight. This knife makes it easy! It comes with a bag, a blade guard and even a screwdriver if you need to adjust. Great product! Thanks!

Tbh I went back to a regular bread knife because the blade isn’t that sharp and smashed my bread when I’m cutting it . I like the idea and it was made well though and easy to handle

Great Product. I got this for my wife as she is a big one for making her own bread. The knife that she had just tore the bread and when I saw this I told her lets try it. She did and now I have made points with her. This cuts like butter. Price was right also.

I had to return this. It just didn't work for me. I was looking for a knife to easily cut homemade bread. This is well made and very nice looking but I found it difficult to slice bread and couldn't get the bread cut evenly. In addition, the "blade shield" is very difficult to get back on. I was afraid I would cut my fingers trying to get it on. Returns were easy and quick.

Update:It worked good the first few breads and now it takes much effort to cut bread. The knife part is loose and wiggly.First cut I was amazed! Knew it was a keeper. Now, on the second sourdough bread, it just seems wiggly and weak. I have to saw the bread to cut through the crust. Not sure if I should keep it or now. Seems like it’ll break soon.

This knife cuts bread, who would have thought

I can’t slice a piece of bread straight to save my life. So, when I saw this bread knife with guide I was very excited! Unfortunately I guess it is impossible for me even with a guide! When I first opened the package I was quite surprised to see how wide a slice of bread I was going to slice. The guide is positioned way too “widely”, would be much better if it was adjustable. Still can’t slice the bread straight, the top is wide and the bottom is quite thin. It does cut nicely though!
