Update: the seller reached out and offered to send me a replacement at no cost to me. New toy came and it works great!My son was very happy to get these for his birthday. Unfortunately one of the lightsabers came out of the box malfunctioning. It just keeps blinking and making random sounds without being touched.The point where they connect to make a dual sided lightsaber is pretty flimsy.

Fun for my kids to fight eachother or channel Darth Maul. Sounds are a little loud.

Grandson loved it did not want to share

I bought these light sabers to go with our Jedi costumes for Halloween. I like how you can choose from many different colors, but I wish that when you turn it back on it would stay on the last color you chose instead of going through the many different colors again.The sound effects for when you’re “sword fighting” are fun, but when it’s not moving it makes a strange sound every few seconds that I finally figured out is supposed to be a light saber sound… it’s annoying and I wish that could be turned off without turning off the sound when swinging or “hitting” the saber.They are quite short, especially for adults. They don’t come out all the way with the motion used to release it from the handle, you have to grab it and pull it out all the way.The battery life is quite short and didn’t last through the entire Trick-or-treating time.

Grandkids are having a great time with these swords

First one my kid played for literally 30 seconds and the plastic broke to pieces. We exchanged it and 2 minutes in this time it broke again. The plastic is way too thin to be a sword or any sort of kids toy. It says ages 3 and up but this plastic splinters and leaves very sharp shards of plastic. I can't imagine a kid breaking the plastic and it not being a potentially very serious situation especially if they're playing with other kids the same age. Someone's bound to get injured. With 3 of these being broken they're going straight in the trash no need to exchange again. Waste of my time. Also charged me for return shipping for the first replacement.

Not very durable for a 4 year old. Cool lights while working.

Bought these for 9 yr old and 7 yr old boys…they were the favorite gift! Very sturdy, great light features and sounds!
