Where there’s smoke, there’s fire?
Purchased 15 months ago, medium to light use. When I plugged it in today, it stopped accepting an “in” charge. I unplugged it and reconnected it a few times thinking maybe the charging cable wasn’t in all the way. On the last try smoke poured out of it at the connection almost immediately so I quickly unplugged it. I will now consider the unit toast (literally). Overall it has been reliable for over a year. But I’m taking off stars for the dangerous end. I’m just glad it didn’t happen when I was sleeping. Is it possible that this could happen to any external battery? I have no idea. But I wanted to forward the concern.

Worst power bank I ever had-I have had 6
What a piece of garbage this is. I plugged my phone in it with the charger at 100% and my physical never at 38% . 6hours later my phone hit 50. The charger had 27%last night, I charged it all night and woke up and it is at 50. I plugged my phone into my other charger that was $10, 10000 max and it charged lightening fast. I changed cords etc. It DOESN'T matter, this charger is horrible.I bought it because it was on a lightening deal and my 3 year old bank just died so I wanted to replace it. I should have replaced it with the same $10 one I already have but I wanted more bank power to charge more times. What a waste.

Worked ONCE, I think.
First, the product itself has no markings or information on it, it's just a blank black charger. Second, after I charged it to 100% over a 24 hour period and proceeded to use it to charge my phone the next day, it dropped to about 50% within minutes and barely charged my phone. It died faster than my 10,000 mAh charger! Now it says that it's at 69% and hasn't charged after being plugged in for the last two hours.

Worked Once
Bought for a long over seas trip and this charged once and then never again. I spent a solid $35 on this and now it's a block of useless plastic.
