I am using this in the bedroom for my Kindle reader. I couldn't be more pleased with the quality and superb functionality of this product. I set it up next to my nightstand and the base fits right under it. The arm is long enough to sit right next to my pillow as I read at night. It holds the Kindle reader snugly and allows for hands free use. I just shift the holder out of the way when I am finished reading for the night. I strongly recommend this and love it for its quality and sturdiness without being bulky. It would also work well for any tablet. One of my favorite Amazon purchases!

Stand ok. More versatile than the last one I had.Base is weighted, but could stand to be heavier.The worst part for me is the bracket that holds the tablet\phone is not very deep. If you have a case on them, it will probably not grasp it without removing the case. It barely holds mine with a thin case, pops out frequently.

My 6 year old absolutely loves this item. she's able to make her own videos on her iPad without anyone having to hold the iPad. She is also able watch movies on her iPad while in her loft bed. It is lightweight and she is able to move it around on her own.

Nice! I bought this to replace one that clamps to the bed and this is far superior.I am using this with an iPad and have had absolutely no issues with it. It bounces a little, but never tips. No need for a weight on the base.Very easy to move around just by lifting it by the pole, as well as easy to adjust. Very adjustable in terms of position and angle.

I really feel like Amazon should not allow sellers who sell defective products, repeatedly, to continue selling. I am just WORN OUT with fooling with returns on defective , poorly thought out merchandise! With that being said, I had high hopes for this product. It seems sturdy enough, but extender rod was faulty (didnt extend), and the screw that was designed to stop the whole, top apparatus from turning in place doesn't even reach the bar, so it can do it's job. So ANNOYING. I'm honestly about to just quit Amazon. Tired of subpar customer service (much worse than it used to be), and lack of any kind of quality control expectations for sellers. I feel like I have been constantly returning faulty products! It's just not even anything to get excited about when you do find a decent deal anymore. Then you have to return defective merchandise, so it can be resold??? I mean, REALLY!?!?!
