I was tired of taking off the antenna/putting it back on each and every time I took the Tundra through the car wash so I stopped taking it off...then it broke....in the car wash...When I took my truck to the dealer, my Toyota service rep basically admitted to me that the antenna on the Tundra was an Achilles heel.I purchased a new antenna from the dealer. However, after once again taking it off/putting it back on a few more times, I quickly remembered how much of a pain in the neck it is.I sucked it up, went onto Amazon and paid $25 for the Stubby Antenna. All things considered, it works quite well, although not quite as well is the antenna that came with the Tundra.For me, the trade off was well worth it.And let me add that it would be ridiculous to expect a 4" replacement antenna to perform as well as the factory 30+" original.If you listen to the radio regularly as I do and hate a little static, consider going back to the dealer for the same antenna. That said, the stubby does amazingly well with the signal since it is about 1/8 of the height of the factory original. The dealer will also charge you about $150 for the replacement antenna. Just details to keep in mind.

I love this little guy. Sure beats the look of a stock antenna. Very low profile snd very well made. Will make any car or truck have a unique look. Great price point too!! A must pick up for sure!!!

Greetings friends,Allow me to inform you that this CravenSpeed stubby antenna is only for those of us who laugh at the idea of listening to music or speech over the open airwaves. It is purely for cosmetic pleasure. You will not pick up any frequency short of driving your vehicle straight up the radio station's transmitter tower and parking directly on the dish. But that's not what you bought this for, is it?In this day and age of satellite radio and mobile device streaming, who listens to AM/FM anymore? Even living in Los Angeles, I have said goodbye to commercials and yuck yuck DJs years ago. For those of us living in the present and don't wish to see a tall, flappy antenna bouncing around in the wind, there is the stubby antenna option.Honestly, for my 2008 Toyota Rav4, I would have preferred one that is twice as long as this. I didn't really think about it until I saw it on the car. Just personal taste. I have another CravenSpeed stubby on my 2009 Mini Cooper JCW and it looks perfect. For the larger Rav4, I would prefer a bit taller (just for looks).CravenSpeed is quality stuff. Anybody in the Mini community knows this. Can't go wrong here if you're looking for a nice compact stubby.

Doesn’t work 96-02 Toyota 4Runner. I have it to a friend with an 08 Toyota tacoma and it went on easy, he was stoked about it because it gave it a good new look. The unfortunate part is, once in the woods/forest the reception went away and was just static. If you overland or like exploring the woods, this isn’t the antenna for you. This is great on the road/freeways/city. Hope that helps.

First I will comment on performance. What good are looks without substance. This antenna for what I can tell performs just as well as the original. No better, no worse.The outer antenna is made of, from what I can tell, aluminum. This is great for longevity, reliability and protection of the product internals. I recommend tightening it down pretty tight. Before you do that tho. Unscrew the set screw from the antenna with a Allen tool apply some thread locker to the entire thread. Reinsert the set screw and tighten it down on the car making sure there is thread locker still on the end of the set screw. I had mine loosen up after two days after I just removed it from the box and slapped it on. You never know who may want your antenna more than you if you catch my drift. On my car the logo pretty much lined up toward the back of the car when I gave it one good last turn to make it rite.When compared before and after, there is no comparison, this antenna is by far hands down much much better looking than the original. It instantly gives the vehicle a more modern look. My Corolla is a 2005 and with this antenna and some LED lights I've made it look almost 10 years newer.So basically this product is a must have for anyone who needs to replace there existing antenna or for those who simply wish to improve the looks of there vehicle. Or both. Again tighten it down tight. Use thread locker if you can ( I recommend the blue one ).

Replaced the original with this to accommodate a low garage door. Can't tell the difference in reception quality. Looks better than original that came with our Toyota Matrix 2004.

Bought this after my cheap short antenna broke (bought on Amazon for 10 bucks). Previous antenna was cheap and the reception sucked. So I splurged and spent money on this stubby. It is probably worse than the cheap one. Would save my money and spend it somewhere else.

DID NOT work with my TOYOTA 2013 4RUNNER At All couldn’t even get channels on radio that work without antenna super bummed cuz it’s pretty slick looking and small O Well

工具不要です。純正のアンテナを外す工具が元々は付いているようですが中古で買ったので付いていませんでした。手で簡単に外れましたし、このアンテナも手で簡単に付けられます。機能的にも問題ありません。受信もしっかり出来ました。

ちゃんと付いて使えてますが、感度はあまり良く無い気します。アンテナが短いのでこんな物かもしれません。

短いので感度がかなり落ちるだろうと予想していましたが、やはり期待を裏切らない結果でした。田舎は電波が弱いのでしかたありません。
