Hard Brass is to be used before waxing to clean the base, brush out structure (base pattern)and prepare the base for wax. For best results do not use the same brush applying paraffin waxes ie. P1 that will be used when applying flouro wax ie. P4 (use one brush for paraffin wax only and another to apply flouro wax only).

I don't know why wax brass brushes are so expensive. This is the cheapest I can find online. It's good for personal use. comparing with others on amazon, it must be a 5 star product

Solid brush
Solidly constructed brass brush perfect for brushing off excess wax after a hot scrape or smoothing down P-Tex repairs. Wood back is solid and bristles are rugged. Seems like it will last a long time.

Excellent Brass Brush
Perfect brush for cleaning the base of skis. Bristles are very densely packed and as of 4 thorough uses have not bent in the slightest. Large surface for easily & quickly cleaning even large skis. Very comfortable to hold while waxing. Overall feels like a quality product which should last for quite some time.

Fast Arrival
This brush for waxing skis arrived very quickly and is exactly what I needed. Although I have not used it yet, I am sure it will be a big improvement over what I was using previously.
