Many levels of support
This will help you get a deeper stretch than just stretching without anything. It took a couple of tries to get it where it felt comfortable. But it does stretch out the back. It takes a little getting used to. I like that it has the different options for support. The material looks like it will last awhile. It is a nice compact size. I like that I can use it in a chair also.

Ok back stretcher
I will admit I have tried this a few times, and I’m not sure if it works. I mean I can feel the stretch, but it feels painful. So I’m not sure if it’s working or not. I do like the adaptability, to remove that small roller, that’s a nice feature.

Review from a PT: nicely versatile & anatomically correct
I'm a PT but I'm also 61 and can get a stiff or sore back. I have bought a few different 'stretchers' in my day and there are several reasons why I like this one the best:+ There are 4 levels of support (depending on how you orient it and whether or not you add the massage ball) and these are beautifully illustrated. Most stretchers don't have 4 levels so I like this, and as a PT I like that they are well explained.+ It's very soft and comfortable. I've purchased a few that work but they are so rigid that it's hard to relax into them. You need to be relaxed to get a good stretch.+ I like the sort of clamshell design which also really helps you to relax into the stretch; it means you aren't lying on anything hard.+ You can use it on the floor, on the bed, or even vertically in an armchair.+ It's anatomically correct as a lumbar support.+It provides gentle traction for your spine which we need as we get older.+ IF you know what you're doing (i.e. you take yoga or similar) you can also position it under your thoracic spine (as in a mild fish pose) to stretch there and get a great chest stretch as well.+ I have also used the lowest part of it under my hips during at-home yoga class- it works great for that!BOTTOM LINE: The best at-home stretcher I have tried!

Use on the floor or hard surface
Great for getting a nice back stretch. I use a chirp roller often, foam rollers, lumbar stretch, and a bunch of other things to help with back strain and posture. This is just another great tool for getting a good stretch and aligning the spine and muscles. Instructions are not too clear, but pretty self explanatory. Don't use on the bed or soft surface, use it on the floor or another hard surface. I use it in combination with a neck support so I can stay on the floor longer.

Uncertain if it truly helps
After a long day of computer work, my back aches.I tried out this back stretcher the other night, after staring and wondering about it for weeks. It took a minute or so to get into a comfy-ish position and I tried to stay still for another couple of minutes. Stretching out flat was helpful and the device seemed to support my lower back.I tried to stretch sideways and move slightly on the stretcher device.Since the first attempt, I've tried this device out 3 more times. I am not sure it has been that helpful, but I really should do more stretches. My body isn't going to develop stronger muscles that quickly. This isn't magic, but maybe a tool to help with the pain.Cozyhealth Back Stretcher for Lower Back Pain Relief, Lower Back Stretching Traction Device, Lumbar Lower Back Support Stretcher for Back Pain Relief, Herniated Disc, Scoliosis

So Comfortable!
This 2 pc lower back pain relief traction device came in a plastic bag with printed instructions/product info pamphlet. I work 8 hours/4 days a week at a computer and this has been great to lay on a couple of times a day for lower back relief.- soft foam- you get the shell shaped device with a lumbar massage ball tool (you can use separately or with the ball tool in the shell)- has 4 settings (you can flip the device and add/remove the ball tool)- use on lower of mid back- no unpleasant odor like some foam devices

Provides some back pain relief
Like most office workers, I sit in front of the computer for a long time, thus get lower back pain once a while. I found this foam back stretching pillow some what useful. Mainly because it is easy to use. I just use it twice a day for about five minutes during my break time. By laying on it, I feel my back muscles stretch a bit and have less tension, which reduces the pain. After doing it for a week the pain almost goes away. In addition to this I do different stretches and do planks to make my core muscles stronger.
