Brilliant Game- Quality needs to Improved
More addictive and more likely to increase your heart rate than any illict substance! An awesome game. We had the entire family playing it (aged between 10 and 82) at Christmas and we couldn't stop! Sometimes the simplest things are the best. The only reason for not awarding 4 stars is that the overall quality of the cards isn't great. Ultimately you can play Nertz with any 6 sets of cards (providing they each have different patterned backs) but it's nice to have this in one handy package..better quality would be welcome!

Don't waste your money on this .... please. It's not worth more than a fiver! I promise you
Plain and simple - it's just 5 packs of playing cards.(oh ok, and a pencil and a few bits of paper) It looks nice - in a box - but seriously. Just buy 5 packs of cards - or you really are wasting your money. I had heard about Nerts and thought it would make a fantastic gift for my friend. I nearly cried when I opened it and realised what is was. So, so disappointed!

Good value for money
This is a great family card game. Same as racing demons and considerable cheaper. Only negative is there are no instructions.. just a card with a website on to download them so that's not great if you are giving it as a gift...

Needs Better Instructions
This game comes in a really nice sturdy pack so it can be all kept together. The pack include3s 6 different coloured packs of cards (decent quality) and a small notepad and pencil. What it doesn’t contain is instructions on how to play! There is a little slip of paper inside telling you to go to the official nerts website for instruction on how to play. When you go to the website it is a youtube video showing you how to play. This is a real downside to the product. My grandparents would love this game but they would need instructions with it. I could show them how to play, but the next time they would want to play they would need a reminder of how to play. That being said I played the game with friends over the weekend and we all thoroughly enjoyed it (once we got the hang of it).I received this product at a discount in exchange for an honest review.

17 and 9 so finding something they all enjoy playing is a bit of a challenge
I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered the game. I have three children aged 19, 17 and 9 so finding something they all enjoy playing is a bit of a challenge. At the moment Dobble and Exploding Kittens are their favourites. We like to have small games like this to play when travelling to pass the time. The game has different coloured decks of cards but no instructions. You have to read a website to learn the rules of the game. I was pleased I noted this from previous reviews as it would have been annoying being stuck on a train or a plane with a game and no idea how to play it!It's similar to Solitaire/Patience as you play with regular playing cards and have to get rid of all the cards in your hand. It's quite a short game and gets quite competitive. All of my children picked it up easily enough. It didn't have the appeal of other games and I found after one or two rounds, they wanted to play something else. It's an ok game and it does pass the time, but I think it could be improved to make it longer or make it more appealing to play for longer.I received the product at discounted price in return for an honest review.

Fun game but no instructions in the box and very mediocre materials
It is a decent/fun game to play once you get the hang of it (it's a little confusing at the beginning, but it's like SPEED. If youa re familiar with SPEED, then you'll find it easy to folllow), and the decks are nicely organised inside the box along with a little pad and a little pencil. Those are the positive points, and the ones that give the product 3 stars. However, there are some points to consider before buying it:1. It's just 6 decks of regular playing cards, printed on glossy paper which is not of the best quality. I would expect it to be from plastic and offer durability, because during a heated game, paper is easy to get crumpled2. There are no instructions in the box, just a piece of paper that directs you to a website where you can find instructions in video and pdf form. The video is really poorly made, so stick to the PDF, *but*, what if I took the game with me somewhere with no internet connection only to find out I can't play it because there are no instructions anywhere near? All in all, I received it at a discount in exchange for an unbiased review, and I'm very glad I didn't pay £20 for 6 decks of flimsy cards.
