Very pleased with this refurbished laptop, there are no scratches on it considering it is not new. When fired up for the first time it seemed to take ages to load and i was getting a bit concerned and shut it down. However once i started it for the second time the setup went ahead very quickly with no problem. I was very pleased to see that it has had the latest operating system installed. Unfortunately this means i will have to purchase a new printer as my present one is not compatible. I would have no hesitation using this company again.

This is the second one of these recon MacBooks I have purchased and this one is as fast on boot-up as one of the new models... For every day use, it is ideal and saves a fortune on the cost of a new model. The battery only lasts about an hour and a half, but its fine if you don't need to use it any longer than that without plugging in to an AC supply. Condition of the case, screen and keyboard is very good with only minor scratches here and there, but not noticeable. For the cost, its a bargain and recommended!!

It’s a great laptop. I brought it for my daughters 13th birthday as I couldn’t afford a brand new Mac book. This mac book works really well. She uses it for her homework, to watch series and the keypad has a good response / fell for typing. Oh and the fact it has the DVD possibility is a real bonus! Great product guys, thanks

What a brilliant item and what a price. There is nothing to fault the service given and the dispatch time. We bought the Mac for my daughter as her first computer and she absolutely loves it.There was no issue with software compatibility and all we needed to do was to download the obvious update that always happens when you turn a new Mac on. The company even upgrade the warranty if you give them feedback.Cons: None

Arrived in excellent condition although battery capacity was down, but given that it was 9 years old and no longer updateable it was not surprising. Although it is quite adequate for my purposes, it dropped a star because the advert did not specify the age of the device but simply said 'first offered for sale 2017'. I think that is less than honest.

I'm really impressed by this MacBook. It came in excellent condition and works brilliantly. It is a great MacBook to get anyone started into the world of Apple computing. Absolutely perfect for my requirements

I bought this for someone who was starting work for me a year ago. It has worked well and done everything asked of it. The only issue that we have had is that the battery life deteriorated badly after 8 months and I had to replace it. Having said that I bought a replacement battery on Amazon (see separate review), followed a YouTube video instructions and completed the replacement for less than £40. Battery life now in excess of 4 hours so pretty happy.
