base, texture, depth, dynamic and musical
I am not an audiophile as this is my third power amplifier in the 40 decades of music listening. Just wanted to make a quick comment as the quality of sound it produces over my previous setting (https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/RVPVRWSRQX1XA/ref=cm_cr_othr_d_rvw_ttl?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B0009GI7NC ) is, for me, worth $2k, as I know this would be the last power amp I'd need. First noticed, base, not only it's there, but the same inexpensive speakers (A is JBL Arena 170 and B is Dali Spektor 2) being able to produce wide/deep/tight base in symphonic pieces is just amazing. JBL's tweeter sounds wimpy and Dali's highs add some substance even though it has artificial color. Speaking of color, the strings show more realistic texture now, by adding Vincent. Those two speakers, Dali on top of JBL, pushes depth further back, with dynamics, quiet to loud in realistic and musical way, so now all the same youtube music becomes almost-audiophile coming-to-touch-me kind of experience. I feel the subwoofer doesn't get involved as much any more in the total sum of the sound. Very interesting. Vincent makes listening of orchestral music possible in the setting I have. I used Blue Jean RCA cable to pull the preamp signal from Cambridge Audio CXA60 Integrated Amp.

... Mk tube hybrid power amp is one of the finest high end amps on the market
Simply the Vincent- Sp331 Mk tube hybrid power amp is one of the finest high end amps on the market. I own an earlier version of the Sp331. I thought it was a terrific tube hybrid amp, but the model sp331 Mk takes an already terrific product to another level. I am fortunate to own a very good audiophile system, and the Sp331 MK has delivered a level of performance that is amazing. I know at $2500 it is not inexpensive, but believe me it is well worth the price. The Vincent Sp331 will compete with amp costing twice the price.
