SOCAL-LED LIGHTING H7 LED Adapter Headlight Bulb Holder Retainer Clip fit for Benz C B GLA GLS ML Series, For d Edge, Pack of 2

I needed these to install aftermarket LED headlights in our new Sorento LX, which had halogen H7 in the stock projectors for low beams. I don't know why Kia couldn't just use a NORMAL mount bracket like every other manufacturer but I'm glad these adapters exist so I can upgrade to good quality LEDs. Just know that you will need to glue these adapters to whatever bulb you get. They will just spin when you try to twist it into the socket, and the bulb will fall out. Once it's glued to the bulb, or more specifically, to the bulb's own mount adapter, it will twist into the socket just fine. I also had to sand down this adapter a little bit because it was a little too tall on the cylindrical part - it wouldn't go all the way onto my LED, and prevented it from going into the headlight. Thankfully that was pretty easy to do since it's just plastic. I didn't have to modify the 3 "lobes" that actually lock it into the headlight socket. This probably varies depending on which LED you get. I used this NightEye H7: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07D91KCPK - excellent pure white light and with this adapter, it fits inside the heaadlight of our 2019 Sorento no problem. I didn't even have to modify the inside of the headlight cover like some folks on the Kia forums had to do for their LEDs.

I don't know if these are really made to fit a VW, but they needed to be modified quite a bit to fit my headlight housings at all. I used a small file and pliers to twist, tweak and clearance the adapters until they were installable. Even then, they're ready to fall out at any moment. I had to use zipties and electrical tape to keep the bulb and adapter attached, so the OEM bulb covers would not fit back on, either. I'd say these are only worth using as a last-ditch attempt to install LED bulbs and not to depend on them as a substitute for OEM quality parts.

Went on YouTube and found what I needed and put it on myself

Using these on a w204 2013 Mercedes C300 along with CougarMotors h7 LED bulbs. Everything worked as desired, and the material is nearly identical to the original retaining clips. The steel used is the same thickness, only less springy, but that doesn’t make any real difference. It snaps into place and holds equally well.

Does not fit the Mercedes C300 as-is. I had to cut the edges a little bit to make it fit . Make sure you have a wire cutter to chip off the edges to have it fit in the groove

These are pretty flimsy, almost the thickness of a soda can. They bend out of shape very easily and are sharp. Don't cut you finger pushing on it too hard like I this. In general, I hate the H7 installation method and these are a necessary evil to mount aftermarket bulbs.

Did not work as described. Did not work on a 2013 VW Passat.

I bought two packages of these to installed new headlight assemblies (Amazon 2pcs Replacement Jetta MK5 Headlamps w/smoke lens) and LED headlight bulbs (Amazon Beamtech H7 Fanless LED bulbs) on my 2008 Jetta. Although they looked OK, they didn't fit the bulb or headlight well enough to hold the bulb in place. They are supposed to twist into the bulb mount and center the bulb in the bulb opening in the headlight housing, but they did neither. I tried grinding and bending them to fit and it turned out easier to just grind and fit the ones that came with the headlight assembly.

Did not fit my bmw f10.

I was not sure if this is for my Elantra 2018 High Beam but its was that, its working perfectly with leds lights.

Bought for a 2018 Hyundai Elantra sedan, do not fit, can't return because I tried to modify them, save your money if you are trying to put an H7 led in, these will not adapt them

did what it was supposed to do added more security to add tightness to aftermarket led headlights for my h1 RSX
