Didn’t smell anything like my palo santo candle. I threw it away after using it twice.

I’ll mostly be using this Palo Santo Essential Oil in my diffusers. I like this smallish quantity of essential oil because it easily fits on my essential oils rack, and I don’t have to open the bottle and expose the oil as many times to the elements before it all gets used up, like I would have to with a larger bottle. I appreciate very much that the bottle is glass rather than plastic, as that reduces the likelihood of plastic contamination (the lid and dropper mechanism are still plastic, but they contact the oil very little during use and not at all when the bottle sits idle). And while amber-colored bottles are standard to help protect oils from light-induced damage, the beautiful, dark blue color of this bottle serves the same purpose while looking a little more bougie. The pretty labeling adds to that effect, making this quite a gorgeous bottle of essential oil. Inside, the distinctive Palo Santo aroma smells absolutely fantastic! I’ve been having a lot of fun so far figuring out what oil combinations work well with this, but it’s certainly lovely on its own, so don’t discount that. Overall, I’m perfectly pleased with this lovely order of Palo Santo Essential Oil.

I really love this essential oil. I use it in my diffuser for the scent, and I must say that a little goes a long way. It’s intense! It’s an aroma unlike any other; it’s woody, but also citrusy, floral, and kind of minty too. I like to combine one drop of this Palo Santo with two drops of lavender, which creates a wonderfully unique scent.I’d never used oils from this company before, but as far as I can tell it’s the real deal. I put a drop on a paper towel, and it all evaporated and left no oil spots or rings around the spot where it had been; those would be signs that it was diluted or impure. You’d never know it had been there except that the paper towel smelled amazing!

This, ethically sourced, steam-distilled, Ola Blue, Palo Santo oil has a very strong resinous fragrance. It is one of those oils that was a bit off-putting to me at first but has grown on me over time. It has a sharp, earthy, grounding fragrance, which blends well with other aromatic woods such as cedar and sandalwood. The oil seems clear and comes in a beautiful dark blue, properly sealed glass bottle. While I wouldn't use this on my skin directly due to its high limonene content, it works well diluted or diffused.
