Snowbee Telescopic Wading Staff - Black, One Size

A good compromise between the flimsier folding staffs and the more cumbersome, heavy one-piece staffs. Good range of adjustment and sufficiently weighted at the bottom end for wading in faster currents. The build quality seems good and as long as you make sure the two sections are properly locked together it seems very solid with no risk of it suddenly collapsing. Glad I finally purchased a wading staff from a safety point of view, and I'm very glad I chose this one!

For the price this is a very well made wading staff...good weight to the bottom of the staff. The lanyard is good but may change the clip at a later date as seems a bit plasticky. It folds down to 3ft (90cm). This isn't the shortest wading staff on the market, but for the price it is a good stout wading staff. I would highly recommend this wading staff, not only has it to saved me getting a dunking, but for anyone wading it is something for your own safety when fishing.

Product ok and at a good price, fast delivery

One of the most unsuitable items of tackle I've ever purchased. Downright dangerous in fact. The twist-lock design would appear to be a major fault in that it 'un-twists' at the slightest knock, such as when coming up against the rocks & boulders of a typical fast-flowing river. I was lucky in that I'm still fairly agile but a heavier person who might be more dependant on a staff could quickly have got into serious trouble on a river like Norway's Gaula, where I was fishing. Also, the lanyard literally disintegrated after just a few days of use. The thing ended its days in the rubbish bin before the week was out. Normally I'm a fan of Snowbee equipment, much of which is very good indeed but it seems they've made a big mistake here.

These Wading sticks are good but poor quality Lanyard. It has broken from stitching, this is my replacement and the same has happened again. The stitching gets wet and weakens. I have tied a knot which seems secure. I've tried to contact them again but no way to get hold of the sellers.

Used for river wading. Sturdy and weighty enough for my use. No problem with height adjustment , stayed put did not collapse at any time. Very happy with staff.

I liked the adjustment, but unless you twist it very hard, it is prone to collaps. A pin through would be beneficial. The lanyard seal came apart after 3 days use, quality control needs attention. Could be an excellent product if some improvements are made
