Laserware X30 IR LED Torch - High Power Infrared 850nm 5W - 350m Range, 40mm Aspherical Lens, Interchangeable LED

Having already purchased the fantastic night fox I got the x30 ir torch. Wow what an amazing piece of kit. It adds a whole new dimension to my night fox; the things you can now see make for a wonderful experience. Laserware products are very well made and the price you pay for such high quality is superb. l rang laserware and spoke to Charles who was very helpful and said there are new products on the way, can’t wait.

Really good quality that can be felt holding it. My Rongland NV-760D3 could now see easily beyond 300m. Regulated beam width is a great feature as is 3 levels of power that can be easily changed. BTW, another torch that I have with 940nm beam is close to useless with my device. But this one is incredible.

Excellent torch, solidly constructed, easily focused with very even illumination across the beam width, particlularly when not focused very tightly. Inerchangeable LEDs is bonus given the quality of the beam over most of the focus range. It certainly substantially improved the perfomance of my night vision monocular, when compared to the built in IR, especially when the torch was mounted on a tripod to provide a steady beam. Definatelya 4.5 star torch, it's just a shame it didn't come with a simple case. Would also be worth knowing if the X70 pressure switch fits the X30.

Delivers a good IR light and for a sustainable period (most of a night used for about 4 hours in aggregate).
