Fast Zebra Wood Wireless Charger

This was one of the stocking stuffers I'd bought for my other half. However come boxing day when he was trying to set it up we couldn't get it to work, it was flashing a green light which shows fault (something the instructions inform you of).I won't lie, it was a bit annoying, but I thought I'd just send a quick email to customer service and I'd hear back in the new year regarding a refund or replacement. After 20 minutes, on boxing day morning, I had an email from a real person (thank you Ralph) who saw my issue, communicated brilliantly and sorted out a replacement order to arrive at my house within days.2 days later, my replacement product had arrived, was unwrapped and set up without any issue. It's a gorgeous, aesthetically pleasing wireless charger which matches my partner's office and desk perfectlyI have NEVER experienced customer service at this level especially in the days surrounding Christmas and new year. And I was blown away by how efficiently my issue was handled and rectified.Thank you Ralph! (GoWood, you're lucky to have him)

Blends in not obvious as a charger works well

This is an aesthetically very attractive charger that blends in well and looks very attractive. It sits on my desk well, with four rubber feet and a good length quality braided cable. It did take a little bit of playing around for me - it is not magnetic and my phone is in a case, so I do have to make sure it is in the right spot to charge but once I got to grips with that it works well.

Perhaps Gowood is a big deal as a brand and it's just that I've never heard of them but honestly this charger was something of a disappointment from a technical standpoint.Let's get the good out of the way first - as an object it's an attractive and minimal piece, the supplied cable has an almost rugged style to the braiding which was a nice visual effect and at first glance it could be mistaken for a drinks coaster or simply blend into a wooden desktop completely. It seems to be well made; the seam between the base and the top cover was smooth and unobtrusive, the whole unit is finished well right down to the feet and the small engraved logo didn't detract from the finish. The walnut wood was a nice cut and the colour displays well.However; during my testing I wasn't able to coax more than 8W of power through it and this would seem to quickly taper off to maybe 3W meaning your predicted 2 hour charge when you put your phone down easily turns into almost 5 while you're not looking. While the supplied cable looks very nice it isn't as flexible as I would have liked to route across a desktop and it feels very light, I'm concerned the conductors inside have been... economised on... and ultimately they will break or burn out prematurely (or this could even be the cause of the comparatively slow charging).All in all mine did work, albeit slowly, and it looks beautiful. As a desktop accessory where a faster charge isn't necessary for an 8 hour day then speed won't be a concern for you. But for me this is a £10 item, maybe £15 if it was a brand I was aware of / specifically supported, but at this price point I expected better.

This is a nice, unobtrusive little charger with a great look to it. It's about the size of a small coaster, making it a far better aesthetic choice than a lot of alternatives, which tend to go larger and have unappealing plastic frames.Speedwise it's fine, at 15W wireless it's of course not going to match hardwired fast chargers, but it does a decent job and looks good on the desk too. Another point on this is that it doesn't have the detectable wireless charger whine when it's active, that very slight but once-noticed-can't-be-missed noise that a lot of these chargers have. So it's a good option for a bedside table/nightstand.

Awful and would prefer to give no stars. Box devoid of the wireless charging disc. Really terrible as this was a Xmas gift opened on Xmas morning. Very disappointed

This premium wireless charger comes attractively and simply packaged. The branded sleeve identifying the wood type fits over a plain cardboard box containing instructions, a robust braided USB power cable, and the charging pad.This *is* a premium wireless charger. The charger is minimilistic in style and very attractive but you are paying for that style - the functionality can be had for half the price.I tested the charging pad with the supplied cable and also my own high power USB C cable with multiple power supplies. Performance was equally as good as my other wireless chargers.The charging pad is really easy to use as it is very compact and that makes it simple to position your phone correctly. The charge light is easy to see, it starts flashing when you are just about in the right place and when your phone beeps to say it is charging, that's it. When you are used to the phone & pad ergonomics it's easy to get it right in just a second or so.So in summary, this is a really nice wireless charging pad. It is very attractive, stylish, and minimilistic in design. The pad is easy to use. The functionality can be had for half the price, but a piece of rubber/plastic/fabric may not be as stylish. So this one really comes down to pay your money take your choice - personally, it is thumbs up from me.

I was attracted to this charger due to the wooden design and manufacture. As you can see in the photo, it looks great against my tables and could easily pass as an expensive coaster.It does feel beautifully made. Clearly a lot of care has gone into the manufacturing process, with the wood beautifully finished and embossed. There are four decent protective foam pads on the underneath to protect your surfaces. The included cable is as good as I've ever received, it's a plastic based braided material and is very thick with good booted connectors.It does fast charge when used with an appropriate charging brick. I found that charging my phone in the case could be quite temperamental and you have to find the sweet spot when placing down. It charges out of the case with no problems though.Its a good looking, functional accessory and would make a great gift.

Looks nice, charges my cell. What more can I ask for?

The one that I initially received worked for a bit and then just stopped. I couldn't return it because like a dummy, I threw away the packaging.The company reached out to me and went far beyond what I would have expected making things right. Fantastic service and fantastic product. Luckily the first one I received was just a fluke. Zero complaints.

Edit: The seller has contacted me and sent a new charger the next day. The new one is working fine. Great customer service!The charger looks great and I was excited when I got it but most of the time it doesn’t work at all. I tried everything to get it to work- unplugging, different phones. Nothing. 1 out of 10 times it starts charging for seconds and then stops again. Not worth the money

Works well. Needs a quality charging block to charge at full speed. Does 15w with Samsung. I'm happy.

When I first got this it was quite slow to charge but now it doesn't seem to charge my phone at all. Not a good purchase. Looks nice though.
