Brilliant torch.
This torch is amazing. As a mountain rescue team member, I find it's perfect. Its range of brightness is just what I need - you don't always want to illuminate the whole hillside, and it's good to conserve battery this way. Despite its power, it's not heavy. Being waterproof is essential for me. Spot on.

Brilliant
Brilliant all rounder midsize torch. The rotary power dial/level is incredibly easy to use instead of the programmable torches. The build quality is superb & the beam throw at the highest level is fantastic. All power levels are practical & useful. Personally can not think of any scenario where this torch would not be highly practical & impressive. Immediately bought 2 more for friends who were as impressed. Some will think it is a lot of money just for a torch but when its this good it's not. Don't waste time on the cheap lower end torches boasting impossible brightness values which are false & have a very limited lifespan.

They are so good and bright that they are being bought by individual police officers as being better than the standard issues.

Not as bright as I imagined
I previously had a PD32R and I was expecting quite a large step up in brightness. Not to be. It is brighter for sure but not as much as I imagined it would be. The box seems to be in German and also most of the 'secondary instructions'. Although there is an English section it only includes the very basics.i did notice the 3000 lumens does seem to drop off a cliff after a few minutes of run time which is unfortunate.Anyway as always it feels good quality and apart from the rapid decrease in brightness after a few minutes it is totally adequate.I also bought an open TH2 holster by Night Provision which is a perfect match. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0BT6WHB68?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

The best general purpose flashlight
Features the latest LED, efficient electronics, simple user interface and huge battery capacity. USB-C charging makes it very convenient for travelling as you can use the same charger and cable as most other devices.
