I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this Vacuum Cleaner and can only praise it for so many reasons.The build quality is excellent, although it is not the prettiest looking cleaner but as I am not intending to take it out on a date it doesn't actually matter.This is one cleverly thought out cleaner, versatile and easy to use and has outstanding suction, quite astonishing and I am very impressed.It took less than 5 minutes to unpack and start using it and even though it kind of reminds me of my old Dyson in the way that hoses connect, removing the dust holder to empty out the dirt and the way that the additional brushes and extensions and attachments go together, this is far superior in my opinion.The ability to change the mode from carpet to hard flooring is brilliantly integrated into the handle with a simple switch, also the way that you control the level of suction is implemented extremely well with a sliding switch that allows you to fine-tune the suction level as required.The Lift-Away is a great feature and something that I had never thought would be something you would ever need on a cleaner, however, once you have used it you then realise that it is a brilliant idea.Assembling and dissembling the cleaner is so straight forward and intuitive that I never had to look at the instruction manual one time.It has a decent length power cable and the cable is strong and substantial, I am confident that it will last a long time as it doesn't kink or snag on furniture.The bright led lights are superb as you can clearly see if you have vacuumed correctly in darker areas such as under furniture, beds etc so you never miss any areas.For the mighty amount of suction that this provides the cleaner is actually very quiet and didn't upset my dogs, who absolutely hate my existing cleaner and attack it if I get even close to them, this didn't faze them at all.Manoeuvring this cleaner is a dream, with its tilting axis it glides around the house with hardly any effort required on my part and due to it being so easy and manoeuvrable I vacuumed the house in half the time that it usually takes me and I could not believe how much hair and dirt this had picked up that my other cleaner had missed when vacuuming the previous day.I am incredibly impressed with this and no longer dread doing the cleaning as this has taken away the hard work element and I am able to reach areas that I would have to go around with a duster t take care of.I could continue and write pages of reasons why you should consider this over other brands, however, it is easy to just summarise by saying this is "fantastic"

After having many a difficulty (my partner chucked the manual) we finally got the vacuum working the way we wanted and boy oh boy is it a treat. The suction is so good that I'd argue you could use this bad boy to rip up old carpets! Our cat runs in fear whenever we turn it on and due to its sheer power, we too feel the impulse to run. It has become the alpha of the house, it's so powerful now its sucked up all of our old hoovers and absorbed their power. We fear soon it will be too powerful.It is an amazing vacuum, detaching it from the base and using it on stairs is easy, portable and effective. One less thing to break your back over. Did I mention it has headlights on it? Like literally has headlights, when it's not sucking the absolute life out of the foundations of your house it looks like it could double up as a sweet ride.Summary: For the money, well, in general actually, it's one hell of a vacuum, great power, great functionality, low cost for the results you get, very healthy competition for the titans of the hoover game. Downside is that it's so powerful we haven't seen our cat in a few days and fear he may have been sucked up along with all of our downstairs carpets and everything below shoulder height. If it hadn't sucked everything in our house up, we're sure our house would look very clean! Great purchase

I’ve never actually left a review on here before but I feel I need to. I have two very hairy cats that shed like crazy. I needed a new hoover and with so many options out there Especially catering to pets I eventually decided on the Shark Powered Lift Away.( Not the more expensive pet specific one). I’ve tried lots of hoovers in the past and been disappointed by them all so wasn’t all too hopeful for this one even after reading the reviews. This hoover did not disappoint in any way, the suction is amazing, the different functions work so well and with the long cord and detachable part, the stairs were a breeze. One room was especially bad for cat hair stuck in the carpet which old hoovers had just pushed further in and I didn’t think it could look any better. I was wrong (see my photo of a small patch I left for comparison). It actually looks like a new carpet, I could not believe my eyes! You don’t need to spend all that extra money for the pet version, the powered lift away one will surpass anything out there for a decent price. The only downside I would say (and it’s not really a downside) is that the collection bit is quite small so it does fill up fast. You’ll be surprised just how much dirt it will pull out of just one room even when you think it’s clean and just been hoovered.

Based on other reviews it seems a few have converted from Dyson to Shark. I have to say I liked my dyson a lot, and 8 years old it still worked but the main body cracked so decided was time for a new one. The price point on the Shark compared to dyson is good and reviews better. And the suction is great!! I hoovered my whole house the day before getting the shark but the bin was half full on its first hoover 😱 so clearly better suction. I was appalled to think that was in my carpet. It’s easy to use, although the the un clipping of the main body to clean stairs and skirtings takes some getting use to, this is essential as the hose is not very long at all. And it’s pretty heavy to push around, felt a bit of a workout at first. But it’s things you can get use to and overall I’m very happy, good suction and able to clean high and low easily is my main concern.
