If you have diabetes, arthritis or any skin disorder that requires your foot to remain friction-free, try the men's / women's insoles that medical professionals widely recommend to protect sensitive feet from pressure. The cushioned insoles are anatomically advanced with two layers of self-molding cushioning that conform to the shape of your foot for even weight distribution..

Great for diabetic feet
I use many pairs of these insoles and like them very much. They seem to mold to my foot very well. And they have been very good at preventing blisters. I personally think plastizote insoles are the best for this. I have had multiple foit surgeries and on one foot my foot is permanently defirmed from sarcoing. They have been recommended by my orthopedic doctor. These insoles are not as thick in the heel area as some I have used, which I prefer. Some have so much heel padding, your foot no longer rests properly in the heel pocket of your shoes. These seem to have the right balance of good cushioning, but not excessive. The arch is average, which again I like. In some shoes where there is a substantial built in arch (as with many current sneakers) these fit well. Overall these are my prefered insoles.

Okay, but disappointing
I bought these for my husband, who is diabetic and works on concrete for 10 hours every day. I was looking for something of a higher quality than what you can buy in the local big-box store but aside from the thin dark piece on the heal and the higher price, these do not differ much from other gel insoles. They are thin and much larger than anticipated. My husband replaced his worn gel inserts with these and has been wearing them for a few days, with no noticeable difference in comfort. Disappointing.

Best cushions I've tried
I tried all sorts of insoles for my aching feet, afflicted with a sort of nerve damage. Many other, high priced, orthotics felt as if something had invaded my shoe or as if there were a fold in my socks. But these gave a soft SMOOTH cushion to my feet. Not quite as if I didn't have nerve damage but the best I have found so far. Word of advice: Even the best cushion inserts don't last forever - nor even for more than a year - so even these will need to be replaced every year or oftener.

Seem to be working well
Have only had the inserts a few days, but are completely happy with them. They were easy to adjust to shoe size.

Surprizing bargain
I ordered the insoles as a replacement for a pair that I originally bought at a Podiatrist's office. They worked well. The surprize was that ordering them here was less that half of what I previously paid. And yes, I checked, there was both a left and a right foot insole.
