I purchased wrong one
My fault but I should have got the one that had the string to close it. This one just spins like a windmill.

disappointed boater
this product seemed at first to be as it said on the tin until I needed to seperate the two parts for installation. They would not come apart and the brittle material resulted in it cracking under a small amount of pressure to unscrew. I then lost myt rag and threw it to the floor where it smashed into a million pieces.

shed ventilation
Delivery was very quick. It was a little tight to undo, but a squirt with WD40 did the trick. Then it was easy to install. It's now whirling away and ventilating our shed/workshop very well.

Had it fitted for two weeks complete with storm guard.First windy day,Fan fell off.
