Rubie's Official Disney Star Wars Stormtrooper Deluxe Men's Costume, Adult Fancy Dress

I teach at a middle school, and the team of teachers with which I work were doing a Star Wars themed skit for a Christmas Assembly. Being a huge Star Wars fan, I lamented the fact that the role of Darth Vader had been given to someone a little taller than me before volunteering for my second favorite role: a stormtrooper. I scoured the internet searching for a costume that looked good without costing thousands of dollars. I finally found this listing on Amazon. I know what you are probably thinking: the force awakens stormtroopers did not exist alongside Darth Vader. I knew that was true, but I liked the way that this costume looked when compared with the traditional stormtrooper costume at the same price point, so I gambled upon the certain ignorance of my colleagues and possible ignorance of the school's students and hoped that the "mistake" would go unnoticed. We were, after all, fighting Santa and his elves alongside Obi-Wan and Luke at the North Pole, so I did not feel too bad about my role in contradicting the Star Wars cannon.When I ordered the costume, I did not expect the quality to be on par with costumes that cost thousands of dollars. It was not designed to that level of quality. It was, however, much better than I expected. The costume fit well and looked pretty good. I received multiple complements on how good it looked. For the purposes of our skit the costume was great. I was especially worried about the quality of the helmet and even considered ordering a better one (before receiving the costume). When I came home from work on the shipment date, however, my worries about the helmet were set to rest. I walked into my house and was quickly greeted by my three year old son dressed only in his underwear and a stormtrooper helmet that was two sizes too big for his head. Given the level of energy with which he plays, the fact that the helmet was still intact for me to use testifies to its durability. The helmet came in two pieces that attached using velcroe. The helmet did not look like it was purchased for $100+, but it did look really good. The seam was not as noticeable as I thought it was going to be.I did feel like I needed to purchase a solid black shirt to wear underneath the costume because it was impossible to completely close the seam at the back. The velcroe at the back was also an issue. I ended up using a safety pin to keep the costume closed. The only other issue that I had with the costume was that there was a noticeable gap in the neck area, and I thought that it made the helmet look worse. I did not have a turtle neck shirt to cover that area, so I used a black neck warmer.

I read the reviews and ended up with a solid purchase. First, I ordered xl for my husband who is tall and skinny and it fit well. He is 6’2” and 174 lbs. It did not ride up in the crotch area for this reason and he wore a dark t shirt underneath to keep the back open. I think this would be a tough costume to fit a bigger build without cutting it at the waist as I saw some had done. The helmet is quite thin and flimsy but it served its purpose. I also agree wearing a black neckpiece makes it much more authentic. We just wrapped one of my black tank tops around his neck. Kids flocked to my husband. Everyone wanted pictures. It is really a striking costume for a tall adult to wear and we all got a kick out of how many people reacted to him.

I normally wear a jacket size 42, and the Standard size is supposed to fit jacket size 44, but it's too tight and the tiny velcro buttons keep popping open. I am 6-feet tall and a lanky 175 lbs. I also got and kept the larger XL size meant for jacket size 48 which just barely fits me. Helmet is great but the white one-piece suit runs small. Quality is good for the price.

The body part is pretty good my only complaint is that the velcro in the back is very thin so its hard to stay closed. Otherwise the foam padded parts look good and it covers front to back.The helmet is not that good. It comes in two pieces. The front is attached to the back using velcro. Which would be nice but mine came with one piece of Velcro missing. Even with all the velcro the helmet is just ok. It is constructed from very thin plastic. So while this is better than just a front mask i'm not sure how durable this will be in the long run. If I decide to keep this out fit I'm going to probably order a better helmet.

First of all the product arrived early which was great. As for the product itself I have to say, it definitely did NOT disappoint. I was nervous when I ordered it that it might be cheap or tacky looking. However, this costume is much better than I thought. A steal for 50 bucks in my opinion. The helmet comes in 2 parts that are brought together by velcro which is cool. The costume itself looks really good. My family raved about it. Maybe not comic con ready (although that's debatable) but this will more than get the job done at parties and such. I'll be wearing this to the premiere of The Awakening. Again, great product especially for the price

My son fit this perfectly. He is 5'5.5" tall and weight 145lbs. This fits true to your size. Awesome material, easy to wash and the helmet is huge but able to break down (held up by velcro straps).

not theater quality but good enough for price and Halloween. The costume was narrow in the chest and the crotch area. mostly standing and walking so not that big of a deal. I had loads of strangers asking to take pictures with their kids that were dressed up as Kylo/Darth/Rey/Etc...

Back closes with velcro points. Really small and too separate between them. Need or pressure buttons pr a zipper... beside that is really nice and cheap compared to the 500+ usd. From others. Helmet is really good! Thin plastic but good

Overall, satisfied. It looks good for a Halloween costume and I received lots of compliments. If you examine the helmet closely, the quality is not very good, but outside or in a party it will go unnoticed. The suit was better than I expected. I’m 6’ 2 foot and a 44 jacket. The length was fine. My issue was width and I couldn’t close the back without the Velcro opening. It didn’t detract from the custom.

Sorry but no mask came with costume ok verry not pleased ok can you send me the missing helmet that is missing thanks or send me a new costume with helmet or masks thanks
