I did not like the colour!
The colour is paler than what it looks on the picture in my opinion.

Alo leggings are great, haven’t seen an issue with this one.
I was already familiar with alo as they make some of the nicest looking, usually sexy while still athletic in their style, from buying them for a girlfriend. I got one of these pairs as part of wardrobe for a female friend for a media venture of ours, as they can be dressed up or left alone and so are really versatile (We’re small, so I’m also the de facto stylist and everything else until we have income for such things, so I probably give this a lot more thought than other guys), and the moto look is just really cool. If yoga pants were more called for I’d totally advocate for her to get a lot of the alo stuff despite the price, as quality has always been up there - Better than lulu from what I can tell, granted, I don’t have as direct a perspective but I’ve gotten feedback and seen for myself. The only caveat and perhaps reason piling hasn’t been an issue here is that often I’ll throw anything dirty in the dry cleaning bag, which may seem silly but then again when clothes cost upwards of $100, whether its mine or a girlfriend’s, I don’t like putting it in the washer. There’s not one nice thing that hasn’t somewhat lost it’s brand-new look after a wash, so IMO it’s the cost of doing business so to speak, if you don’t want to worry about washing it and having issues, get a $15-20 pair - there’s thousands on this site - and just stick it in the washer. The cheaper stuff tends to dp better anyway, and at worst it’s a cheap item that gets ruined, not expensive leggings. Also note, if moneys a concern you definitely don’t need to dry clean, just hand wash and air dry - you can probably even get away with a “hand wash” machine cycle, but I’d definitely avoid the dryer, or air tumble dry if you must. Think of these like Wolford leggings, would you wash them without great care? They’d last one cycle at best. These aren’t stockings, but are equally expensive and still tight fitting legwear. So treat them as such and there’ll be no problems. If you say they’re workout clothes and shouldn’t require such care - I say you don’t need to look amazing while working out, that’s a choice, comes with some extra work. And if you care enough that the extra cost doesn’t matter, since you can get yoga pants under $10 really, then look at dry cleaning costs as part of the deal if you want no extra workout cleaning them. Finally, I’m not sure how many women work out in these anyway - They’re nice enough to wear as pants in a clubby-type outfit or just to look good when being comfortable. I’d think you’d want one of Alo’s more breathable, smoother leggings to actually workout anyway, though that part I’m guessing on. Source : I’ve worked from home for years while gf did not, so inevitably I’ve done a lot of laundry. I also was an art student and enjoy fashion, both men’s and women’s, so I’ve always been a more active participant shopping - never the guy on the store’s chair stuck in his phone, I’d browse for thongs I’d want to see worn and suggest them. No kudos for me, just establishing I have more experience than I really should in cleaning and choosing stuff like this). So yeah, really bad a** looking, better than the pics even show (Though some customer pics give you a good idea). Again, I don’t see women working out in these so much - Alo’s airbrush seems better for that, or the Goddess if it’s chilly (the legs are a lot thicker). These would definitely be on the warmer side for working out, there’s a small mesh area but overall they’re pretty warm. Also as I said, no piling issues but we haven’t done an abrasive wash/dry, not sure if that is the root of people’s issues. Also, alo really should take these and make it unisex or make a men’s version. Most guys obviously won’t buy something labeled women’s but after seeing my friends and knowing Alo already, I had to try, as I love men’s compression pants for working out and just around the house (Far more comfortable than jeans). To be fair, I’d only wear them out to the gym with shorts, but that’s a normal guy workout look, just with far cooler legs. I ordered the men’s moto sweatpants which will be great I’m sure, but as someone with leg pain I love the compression of tighter long underwear or workout pants, it’s so much more comfortable, and often I’ll wear some sort of compression pant (Athmile makes decent men’s pants, as does Tesla) under jeans anyway. If anyone from Alo pays attention.. you have guys stuff, why not add this? You wouldn’t even need a redesign - it relies on the person for shape, meaning it doesn’t look too curvaceous or otherwise like a female garment. I’m happy regardless but I doubt many men would try these as is. They completely work though / just definitely not the high waist, she has those and they’re decidedly feminine.Oh, that does also speak to length if anyone is worried: Generally I have no choice but to go for men’s regardless as I’m 6’4” and 185, so thin but tall. I saw though that these would be fine and they are: L fits perfectly and goes past the ankles, where most would look more like capris and therefore be a no-go. So tall women around 6’ are likely fine with an M, but also I don’t have a big waist or of course hips and it’s still snug, so perhaps L is best.Women that love the moto design should also check out the sweats. I’m not sure if they have a women’s version, but of course again the difference is small, they don’t have a feminine cut but aren’t overly baggy. Too bad there’s no men’s running shorts, then I’d feel like the Terminator or something out on a run..So yeah.. wanna feel like a robot or something, these are really cool. No issues when cleaned carefully. Look at other alo stuff if you’re mainly gonna workout in them, IMO. I see girls out in VS pink label yoga pants, which just looks lazy.. these look like part of an outfit, totally at home whether you’re lounging or out at a club. And as a guy, I can tell you it makes anybody look good. If you want to look less attractive, not the pair. If you want attention, perfect pick.
