Crush the puny humans and rule the galaxy with the Transformers Prime Robots in Disguise Voyager Megatron figure. Megatron blazes across the skies in spaceship mode, then transforms to Decepticon mode to battle the Autobots. His cannon transforms into a mighty glowing sword for close combat, making this 18cm high figure a hit with fans of the movies. Includes batteries.

Happy Child
My grandson was over the moon with this Transformer as he collect them. Very different from the old sort, 30 years ago when his father had transformers..

It's okay.
This toy falls into the strange territory between over complicated, collectors edition TransFormers models and durable yet extremely limited quality basic models. It's not 'cool' enough to roll with the Mech Tech leader class, for instance, but it's also not durable enough to hang with his cheaper, slightly smaller buddies either. In terms of the actual look, this Megatron is superb. From TransFormers: Prime (cartoon) this is the best Megatron we've seen, better than the one from the movies, and he turns into some kind of jet fighter rather than a truck. The problem is the jet fighter doesn't really look very much like a jet fighter. And the limbs, unlike other TransFormers models, will actually break off. Nothing too serious here, we've managed to slot any parts straight back on, however if you have a young kid bashing this about in their bedroom there is a fair chance they may lose a part and render the 'transformation' impossible. The transformation, as with every other TransFormers toy on the market, is nowhere near as easy as it looks. This toy isn't one of the large scale models yet still features a 20+ move routine to go from robot to jet and vice versa. The problem comes in terms of the actual guide. As always, low quality grey scale pictures are useless (particularly when your toy itself is also grey) and you will find yourself jumping on to Youtube to find a video from a helpful guy or girl out there showing the steps instead. Our advice: If you can afford to spend £25 (the price of this right now) on a TransFormers toy you can simply get better for less. Sure, this is from the cartoon, but the ones from the movies are just as big and just as good for this price, as well as being much more robust.

"Decepticons he has returned"
This megatron is the best voyager that hasbro has ever madeThe only Complaint I have is that the arms that peg in at the back dont stay in that great but if you hold down on his back when your pushing the arm down you wont get any troubleI think the fusion cannon is brilliantand the extra weapon the battle claw, its a nice touch to the weapons galleryThe Jet Mode is pretty good from the front but the back has loads of robot parts such as the 2 from toes that stick out at the backThe robot mode is spot on, as if it were the first edition with R.I.D written on the boxI'd highly recommend buying this toy if your a fan of megatron

I expected better (adult fan opinion)
I got Megatron together with Starscream (from the same line) today, and I must say the former was a disappointment in comparison to the former. He is my favourite of the bunch and this toy is not exactly what I was hoping for.My main gripe is that he feels extremely light and delicate, which is something I don't want to experience with my Megs (even in toy form). He isn't very flexible, and his back won't stay where it's meant to when I try to move his arms (maybe it's just my toy, maybe it's like that with every one of them). His balance is ok, although the lower limbs and waist seem a bit loose, making it hard to find the right standing balance.Changing him into vehicle mode was ok, and I'm very happy it does look alien like in the show.Overall it's a fine depiction of Megatron, and I would like to give it a good and fair review, yet the Starscream I got outclasses him in every way, mainly with his flexibility and great balance allowing for more creative poses. While I can't really tell how good of a child's toy it can be, I'd imagine his light build would cause a few breaks (especially during changing between the modes his mid-section is very exposed). I'd recommend this for a bit older, and less destructive kids.
