The Last Dress from Paris: A heartbreaking and sweeping historical novel

Enjoyed the story. It had twists in the storyline that I wasn't expecting. Will read more by this author.

I haven't read anything by this author before. I enjoyed the story. It was not as predictable as I first thought. Fashion, embassy/high society life along with love and a mystery. A winning combination.

For some reason this was not exactly what I was expecting. It is a time-slip book, with part of the story taking place in the 1950's and part in present-day. I found myself sort of annoyed by the 1950's part of the story, as I didn't like the characters very well. Eventually the story got a little better, but it was still sad. The present-day part of the story was easier to read.

Nice read.

The story is good but a lot of propitious parts and a little too descriptive for my taste. I doubt I would read any more of the authors books
