I remember my children having one of these and had lots of fun with it. Now I have bought one for my great grandson.

We bought this for our daughter and it’s the perfect learning toy that kids love.Once they’ve hammered all the pegs you just flip the toy over and away they go. Solid wood built toy that will last a while!We’ve used it to teach colours and counting.

Right & colourful. Hammer is small / good for little hands. My only negative is that 2 of the pegs tend to slide through the hole where they should be held with a rubber stopper until ‘hammered’ down. (my 18mth old grandson pushes them down with his finger!)

Great little toy. Well made.

I wanted a well made, wooden version of this traditional toy, which had amused my children for hours when young.. This looked like it. But I’m disappointed to find the pegs are held by little plastic washers. Not yet put into full use by granddaughter as she is still a bit young for it, but I’m not hopeful for the durability and functionality of this toy.

I should have listened to the negative reviews.... several of the pegs almost fell through the holes without any tapping at all! Unfortunately my little boy has put a few marks on it playing with it so I don't feel I can return it.

Bought it because had more colors than most and had pink. After a couple pounds the pegs were able to be pushed through. GDaughter lost interest at that point.

This toy is pretty, but that's about it. Pegs are too loose in the holes so present no resistance when hammered. Pegs are also too short, so fall out when pushed to the bottom of the holes. Salvaged this lame toy by cutting new pegs from larger 7/8" diameter dowel, cut long enough to touch bottom when hammered down flush with top of bench.
