Plastikote 110S AEROSOL 100ML Gold Leaf

I liked this as it was the first paint I'd bought that actually dried on rubber! I used rubber and plastic snakes and previous paint from same company weirdly wouldn't dry, 2 weeks later was still tacky. Scrubbed it all off and started again so I got a 2 gold tone result but looks fantastic even if I say so myself! Plenty of paint left for any other projects too.

Gold Leaf paint looks nice when applied but not rub fast and soon wears off.

In contrast to my original review I was forwarded a replacement within 24 hours and am delighted with the results. When sprayed onto a non absorbent surface the result is stunning - a true metallic appearance of gold. Similarly if an absorbent surface is treated to a sealing spray of various types and manufacture and then sprayed with this gold effect product, a similar very good result is achieved - truly amazing if carried out correctly.

I can't fault this product. Drip free and an even coat without much effort. The finish is perfect and of a high quality. A winner for me and I plan to use it more.

Lovely colour and handy little spray can. Very easy to use but wooden items will need several coats. I used this to spray paint some cupboard handles with only a few coats and the paint has since rubbed back off so will need to be re done.

Absolute rubbish. Does not spray. Can hear liquid in the can and the ball bearing rattling, but the delivery system does not work. Nothing. Can’t give zero stars... Aha!!! It says don’t insert anything into the can opening but... if you remove a bit of orange plastic it works. No instructions for this so be careful!!

The shade of gold as described is not true gold, it’s more “rose”gold shade
